അപ്പോള് മോശെ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് അടിമവീടായ മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്ന ഈ ദിവസത്തെ ഔര്ത്തു കൊള്വിന് ; യഹോവ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പം തിന്നരുതു.

Moses said to the people, "Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
