അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടുഞാന് ഒരു ബാധകൂടെ ഫറവോന്മേലും മിസ്രയീമിന്മേലും വരുത്തും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവന് നിങ്ങളെ ഇവിടെനിന്നു വിട്ടയക്കും; വിട്ടയക്കുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ ഇവിടെ നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Yet one plague more will I bring on Pharaoh, and on Egypt; afterwards he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will surely thrust you out altogether.

ഔരോ പുരുഷന് താന്താന്റെ അയല്ക്കാരനോടും ഔരോ സ്ത്രീ താന്താന്റെ അയല്ക്കാരത്തിയോടും വെള്ളിയാഭരണങ്ങളും പൊന്നാഭരണങ്ങളും ചോദിപ്പാന് നീ ജനത്തോടു പറക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold."

യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും ജനത്തോടു കൃപ തോന്നുമാറാക്കി. വിശേഷാല് മോശെ എന്ന പുരുഷനെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ഫറവോന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും പ്രജകളും മഹാശ്രേഷ്ഠനായി വിചാരിച്ചു.

Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

മോശെ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅര്ദ്ധരാത്രിയില് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നടുവില്കൂടി പോകും.

Moses said, "This is what Yahweh says: 'About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt,

അപ്പോള് സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഫറവോന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് മുതല് തിരികല്ലിങ്കല് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ദാസിയുടെ ആദ്യജാതന് വരെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുള്ള കടിഞ്ഞൂല് ഒക്കെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലും ചത്തുപോകും.

and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the maid-servant who is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of cattle.

മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എങ്ങും മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും ഇനി ഉണ്ടാകാത്തതുമായ വലിയൊരു നിലവിളി ഉണ്ടാകും.

There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been, nor shall be any more.

എന്നാല് യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്യര്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ വ്യത്യാസം വെക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് യാതൊരു മനുഷ്യന്റെയോ മൃഗത്തിന്റെയോ നേരെ ഒരു നായിപോലും നാവു അനക്കുകയില്ല.

But against any of the children of Israel a dog won't even bark or move its tongue, against man or animal; that you may know that Yahweh makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.

അപ്പോള് നിന്റെ ഈ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നുനീയും നിന്റെ കീഴില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന സര്വ്വജനവുംകൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു എന്നെ നമസ്കരിക്കും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ഞാന് പുറപ്പെടും. അങ്ങനെ അവന് ഉഗ്രകോപത്തോടെ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.

All these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, 'Get out, and all the people who follow you; and after that I will go out.'" He went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.

യഹോവ മോശെയോടുമിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങള് പെരുകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഫറവോന് നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കയില്ല എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Pharaoh won't listen to you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt."

മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഈ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെയ്തു എങ്കിലും യഹോവ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കി; അവന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തു നിന്നു വിട്ടയച്ചതുമില്ല.

Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Yahweh hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he didn't let the children of Israel go out of his land.
