മനുഷ്യന് ബഹുകാലം ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അവന് അതില് ഒക്കെയും സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ; എങ്കിലും അന്ധകാരകാലം ദീര്ഘമായിരിക്കും എന്നും അവന് ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; വരുന്നതൊക്കെയും മായ അത്രേ.

Truly the light is sweet, And a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to see the sun.
