ഞാന് അസ്തോദില്നിന്നു നിവാസിയെയും അസ്കെലോനില്നിന്നു ചെങ്കോല് പിടിക്കുന്നവനെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; എന്റെ കൈ എക്രോന്റെ നേരെ തിരിക്കും; ഫെലിസ്ത്യരില് ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര് നശിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; And I will turn my hand against Ekron; And the remnant of the Philistines will perish," Says the Lord Yahweh.
