1ഇതൊക്കെയും തീര്‍ന്നശേഷം വന്നുകൂടിയിരുന്ന എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളിലേക്കു ചെന്നു സ്തംഭവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകര്‍ത്തു എല്ലായെഹൂദയിലും ബെന്യാമീനിലും എഫ്രയീമിലും മനശ്ശെയിലും ഉള്ള അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ വെട്ടി പുജാഗിരികളെയും ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെയും ഇടിച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. പിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കള്‍ എല്ലാവരും ഔരോരുത്തന്‍ താന്താന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കും അവകാശത്തിലേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
1Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke in pieces the pillars, and hewed down the Asherim, and broke down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
2അനന്തരം യെഹിസ്കീയാവു പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും ലേവ്യരുടെയും ക്കുറുകളെ ക്കുറുക്കുറായി ഔരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാനും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകളില്‍ ശുശ്രൂഷിപ്പാനും സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്തു വാഴ്ത്തുവാനും നിയമിച്ചു.
2Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, for burnt offerings and for peace-offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of Yahweh.
3രാജാവു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കായിട്ടു, യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില്‍ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ കാലത്തെയും വൈകുന്നേരത്തെയും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കായിട്ടും ശബ്ബത്തുകളിലും അമാവാസ്യകളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും ഉള്ള ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കായിട്ടും തന്നേ സ്വന്തവകയില്‍നിന്നു ഒരു ഔഹരി നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.
3He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt-offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of Yahweh.
4യെരൂശലേമില്‍ പാര്‍ത്ത ജനത്തോടു അവന്‍ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില്‍ ഉറ്റിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ ഔഹരി കൊടുപ്പാന്‍ കല്പിച്ചു.
4Moreover he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the law of Yahweh.
5ഈ കല്പന പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഉടനെ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കള്‍ ധാന്യം, വീഞ്ഞ്, എണ്ണ, തേന്‍ , വയലിലെ എല്ലാവിളവും എന്നിവയുടെ ആദ്യഫലം വളരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും ദശാംശവും അനവധി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
5As soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel gave in abundance the first fruits of grain, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
6യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളില്‍ പാര്‍ത്ത യിസ്രായേല്യരും യെഹൂദ്യരും കൂടെ കാളകളിലും ആടുകളിലും ദശാംശവും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു നിവേദിച്ചിരുന്ന നിവേദിതവസ്തുക്കളില്‍ ദശാംശവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടി.
6The children of Israel and Judah, who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of dedicated things which were consecrated to Yahweh their God, and laid them by heaps.
7മൂന്നാം മാസത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ കൂമ്പാരം കൂട്ടിത്തുടങ്ങി ഏഴാം മാസത്തില്‍ തീര്‍ത്തു.
7In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
8യെഹിസ്കീയാവും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വന്നു കൂമ്പാരങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും വാഴ്ത്തി.
8When Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed Yahweh, and his people Israel.
9യെഹിസ്കീയാവു കൂമ്പാരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ലേവ്യരോടും ചോദിച്ചു.
9Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10അതിന്നു സാദോക്കിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തില്‍ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അസര്‍യ്യാവു അവനോടുജനം ഈ വഴിപാടുകളെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തുടങ്ങിയതുമുതല്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി വളരെ ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ശേഷിച്ചതാകുന്നു ഈ വലിയ കൂമ്പാരം എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
10Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of Yahweh, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty: for Yahweh has blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
11അപ്പോള്‍ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില്‍ അറകള്‍ ഒരുക്കുവാന്‍ കല്പിച്ചു;
11Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of Yahweh; and they prepared them.
12അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ ഒരുക്കിയശേഷം വഴിപാടുകളും ദശാംശങ്ങളും നിവേദിതവസ്തുക്കളും വിശ്വസ്തതയോടെ അകത്തുകൊണ്ടുവന്നുലേവ്യനായ കോനന്യാവു അവേക്കു മേല്‍വിചാരകനും അവന്റെ അനുജന്‍ ശിമെയി രണ്ടാമനും ആയിരുന്നു.
12They brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: and over them Conaniah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second.
13യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെയും ദൈവാലയപ്രമാണിയായ അസര്‍യ്യാവിന്റെയും ആജ്ഞപ്രകാരം യെഹീയേല്‍, അസസ്യാവു, നഹത്ത്, അസാഹേല്‍, യെരീമോത്ത്, യോസാബാദ്, എലീയേല്‍, യിസ്മഖ്യാവു, മഹത്ത്, ബെനായാവു എന്നിവര്‍ കോനന്യാവിന്റെയും അവന്റെ അനുജന്‍ ശിമെയിയുടെയും കീഴില്‍ വിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
13Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
14കിഴക്കെ വാതില്‍ കാവല്‍ക്കാരനായി ലേവ്യനായ യിമ്നയുടെ മകനായ കോരേ യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെയും അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാന്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ള ഔദാര്യദാനങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മേല്‍വിചാരകനായിരുന്നു.
14Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter at the east gate, was over the freewill-offerings of God, to distribute the offerings of Yahweh, and the most holy things.
15അവന്റെ കീഴില്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാര്‍ക്കും, വലിയവര്‍ക്കും ചെറിയവര്‍ക്കും ക്കുറുക്കുറായി കൊടുപ്പാന്‍ ഏദെന്‍ , മിന്യാമീന്‍ , യേശുവ, ശെമയ്യാവു, അമര്‍യ്യാവു, ശെഖന്യാവു എന്നിവര്‍ പുരോഹിതനഗരങ്ങളില്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
15Under him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their office of trust, to give to their brothers by divisions, as well to the great as to the small:
16മൂന്നു വയസ്സുമുതല്‍ മേലോട്ടു വംശാവലിയില്‍ ചാര്‍ത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ആണുങ്ങളായി ഔരോ ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യംപോലെ ക്കുറുക്കുറായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ തവണെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു
16besides those who were reckoned by genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even everyone who entered into the house of Yahweh, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their offices according to their divisions;
17ആലയത്തില്‍ വരുന്നവരെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ വംശാവലിയില്‍ പിതൃഭവനംപിതൃഭവനമായി ചാര്‍ത്തപ്പെട്ടവരെയും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല്‍ മേലോട്ടു ക്കുറുക്കുറായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ തവണമുറെക്കു ചാര്‍ത്തപ്പെട്ട ലേവ്യരെയും ഒഴിച്ചിരുന്നു.
17and those who were reckoned by genealogy of the priests by their fathers' houses, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their offices by their divisions;
18സര്‍വ്വസഭയിലും അവരുടെ എല്ലാകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരുമായി വംശാവലിയില്‍ ചാര്‍ത്തപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്കുംകൂടെ ഔഹരി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്യോഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊത്തവണ്ണം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധിയില്‍ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുപോന്നു.
18and those who were reckoned by genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their office of trust they sanctified themselves in holiness.
19പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ സകലപുരുഷപ്രജെക്കും ലേവ്യരില്‍ വംശാവലിയായി ചാര്‍ത്തപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ഔഹരികൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഔരോ പട്ടണത്തില്‍ പേര്‍വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
19Also for the sons of Aaron the priests, who were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every city, there were men who were mentioned by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all who were reckoned by genealogy among the Levites.
20യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യെഹൂദയില്‍ ഒക്കെയും ഇവ്വണ്ണം ചെയ്തു; തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ നന്മയും ന്യായവും സത്യവും ആയുള്ളതു പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു.
20Thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah; and he worked that which was good and right and faithful before Yahweh his God.
21അവന്‍ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷ സംബന്ധിച്ചും ന്യായപ്രമാണവും കല്പനയും സംബന്ധിച്ചും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആരംഭിച്ച സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും പൂര്‍ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു കൃതാര്‍ത്ഥനായിരുന്നു.
21In every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
