അഹസ്യാവു വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള് അവന്നു നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവന് ഒരു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമില് വാണു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു അഥല്യാ എന്നു പേര്; അവള് ഒമ്രിയുടെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

Forty-two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
