എന്നാല് രാജകുമാരിയായ യെഹോശബത്ത് കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്ന രാജകുമാരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നു അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോവാശിനെ മോഷ്ടിച്ചെടുത്തു അവനെയും അവന്റെ ധാത്രിയെയും ഒരു ശയനഗൃഹത്തില് ആക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ യെഹോരാംരാജാവിന്റെ മകളും യെഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായ യെഹോശബത്ത്--അവള് അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹേദരിയല്ലോ--അഥല്യാ അവനെ കൊല്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചു.
World English Bible
But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she didn't kill him.
