അതു സ്നാനത്തിന്നു ഒരു മുന് കുറി. സ്നാനമോ ഇപ്പോള് ജഡത്തിന്റെ അഴുകൂ കളയുന്നതായിട്ടല്ല, ദൈവത്തോടു നല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷിക്കായുള്ള അപേക്ഷയായിട്ടത്രേ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്താല് നമ്മെയും രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you - not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
