ആസാ തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; തന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തില് അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല് അവനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.
