1ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮರ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಕೂಶೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಚೆಫನ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ
1The word of Yahweh which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.
2ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ದೇಶ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
2I will utterly sweep away everything off of the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.
3ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರ ಮಾಡುವ ವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು: ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
3I will sweep away man and animal. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and the heaps of rubble with the wicked. I will cut off man from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.
4ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಬಾಳನ ಉಳಿದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೆಮಾರ್ಯರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ
4I will stretch out my hand against Judah, and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place: the name of the idolatrous and pagan priests,
5ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮಲ್ಕಾಮನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರನ್ನೂ
5those who worship the host of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by Yahweh and also swear by Malcam,
6ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿ ರುಗಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕದೆಯೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸ ದೆಯೂ ಇರುವವರನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
6those who have turned back from following Yahweh, and those who haven't sought Yahweh nor inquired after him.
7ಕರ್ತ ನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ: ಕರ್ತನ ದಿನವು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದೆ; ಕರ್ತನು ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
7Be silent at the presence of the Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh is at hand. For Yahweh has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.
8ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅನ್ಯರ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
8It will happen in the day of Yahweh's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, the king's sons, and all those who as are clothed with foreign clothing.
9ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲನ್ನು ಹಾರಿ ದಾಟುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನರ ಮನೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮೋಸಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸುವವರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
9In that day, I will punish all those who leap over the threshold, who fill their master's house with violence and deceit.
10ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ವಿಾನುಬಾಗಲಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿನ ಶಬ್ದವೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದ ರಿಂದ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮುರಿಯೋಣವೂ ಇರುವದು.
10In that day, says Yahweh, there will be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, a wailing from the second quarter, and a great crashing from the hills.
11ಮಕ್ತೇಷಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ; ವರ್ತಕರ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹಾರ ವಾದರು; ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಹೊತ್ತವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ.
11Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan are undone! All those who were loaded with silver are cut off.
12ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸುವೆನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನುವವರಾಗಿ ಮರೆಯಾದವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
12It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, "Yahweh will not do good, neither will he do evil."
13ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗುವದು, ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗು ವವು; ಅವರು ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡರು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳ ರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯರು.
13Their wealth will become a spoil, and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won't inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won't drink their wine.
14ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಾದಿನವು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ಬಹು ತ್ವರೆಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ದಿನದ ಶಬ್ದವು ತ್ವರೆ ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಶೂರನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಘೋರವಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಿಡು ವನು.
14The great day of Yahweh is near. It is near, and hurries greatly, the voice of the day of Yahweh. The mighty man cries there bitterly.
15ಆ ದಿನವು ರೌದ್ರದ ದಿನವು, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಸಂಕಟಗಳ ದಿನವು, ಹಾಳು ಪಾಳುಗಳ ದಿನವು, ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಮೊಬ್ಬುಗಳ ದಿನವು, ಮೇಘ ಮೋಡಗಳ ದಿನವು.
15That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,
16ಅದರ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ಗೋಪುರಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ತುತೂರಿ ಅರ್ಭಟಗಳ ದಿನವು.
16a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fortified cities, and against the high battlements.
17ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ತರಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಕುರುಡರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವರು; ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ರಕ್ತವು ದೂಳಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರ ಮಾಂಸವು ಗೊಬ್ಬರ ದಂತೆಯೂ ಸುರಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು.ಕರ್ತನ ರೌದ್ರದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಾದರೂ ಅವರ ಬಂಗಾರ ವಾದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾರವು; ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನುಂಗುವದು.
17I will bring distress on men, that they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against Yahweh, and their blood will be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung.
18ಕರ್ತನ ರೌದ್ರದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಾದರೂ ಅವರ ಬಂಗಾರ ವಾದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾರವು; ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನುಂಗುವದು.
18Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh's wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.
