ಓ ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿರಿ.

A contemplation by Asaph. Hear my law, my people. Turn your ears to the words of my mouth.

ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯುವೆನು; ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಿಂದಿರುವ ಗುಪ್ತವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವೆನು.

I will open my mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old,

ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
4
ನಾವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ತ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, His strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.

ಆತನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು

For he established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which he commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

ಮುಂದಿನ ವಂಶವು ಅಂದರೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಿಳಿದು, ಎದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಗಿ

That the generation to come might know, even the children who should be born; Who should arise and tell their children,

ಇವರು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡ ದಂತೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು

That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments,
8
ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸು ವಂತೆಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮವು ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗು ವಂತೆಯೂ ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವಂಥ ವಂಶ ವಾಗಿರದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿ ಯಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

And might not be as their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that didn't make their hearts loyal, Whose spirit was not steadfast with God.

ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಳಗದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡರು.

The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, Turned back in the day of battle.

ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

They didn't keep God's covenant, And refused to walk in his law.

ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿ ಸಿದ ಆತನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತು ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

They forgot his doings, His wondrous works that he had shown them.

ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೋನ್‌ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

He did marvelous things in the sight of their fathers, In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
13
ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸಿದನು; ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ದನು.

He split the sea, and caused them to pass through; He made the waters stand as a heap.
14
ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘದಿಂದ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

In the daytime he also led them with a cloud, And all night with a light of fire.
15
ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಬಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಾ ಜಲಾಗಾಧಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

He split rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink abundantly as out of the depths.
16
ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ನದಿಗಳಂತೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹರಿಯಮಾಡಿದನು.

He brought streams also out of the rock, And caused waters to run down like rivers.
17
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ

Yet they still went on to sin against him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert.

ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೋಧಿಸು ವವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದುರಾಶೆಗಳಿಗ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

They tempted God in their heart By asking food according to their desire.
19
ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ದೇವರು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಜನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲನೋ ಅಂದರು.

Yes, they spoke against God. They said, "Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
20
ಇಗೋ, ಆತನು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯಲಾಗಿ ನೀರು ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಹಳ್ಳಗಳು ಹರಿದವು; ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಬಲ್ಲನೋ? ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವನೋ ಅಂದರು.
20
Behold, he struck the rock, so that waters gushed out, Streams overflowed. Can he give bread also? Will he provide flesh for his people?"

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಉಗ್ರನಾದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪವು ಸಹ ಎದ್ದಿತು.

Therefore Yahweh heard, and was angry. A fire was kindled against Jacob, Anger also went up against Israel,
22
ಅವರು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Because they didn't believe in God, And didn't trust in his salvation.
23
ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮೇಘಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದನು.

Yet he commanded the skies above, And opened the doors of heaven.
24
ಉಣ್ಣುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನ್ನವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

He rained down manna on them to eat, And gave them food from the sky.
25
ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೂತರ ಆಹಾರ ವನ್ನು ತಿಂದನು; ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full.
26
ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿ ಯನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದನು.
26
He caused the east wind to blow in the sky. By his power he guided the south wind.
27
ಧೂಳಿನಂತೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಂತೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿ

He rained also flesh on them as the dust; Winged birds as the sand of the seas.
28
ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೀಳಮಾಡಿದನು.

He let them fall in the midst of their camp, Around their habitations.
29
ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ಬಹಳ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾದರು; ಅವರು ಆಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

So they ate, and were well filled. He gave them their own desire.
30
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಅವರ ಊಟವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗ

They didn't turn from their cravings. Their food was yet in their mouths,
31
ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎದ್ದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವ ರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬೀಳಿಸಿತು.

When the anger of God went up against them, Killed some of the fattest of them, And struck down the young men of Israel.
32
ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ಆತನ ಆದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

For all this they still sinned, And didn't believe in his wondrous works.
33
ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಉಸಿರಿ ನಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರ ವರುಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.

Therefore he consumed their days in vanity, And their years in terror.
34
ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ

When he killed them, then they inquired after him. They returned and sought God earnestly.
35
ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಡೆ ಎಂದೂ ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ನಾದ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

They remembered that God was their rock, The Most High God their redeemer.
36
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

But they flattered him with their mouth, And lied to him with their tongue.
37
ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿ ಕೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ
37
For their heart was not right with him, Neither were they faithful in his covenant.
38
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆತನು ಅಂತಃಕರಣವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ಅವರ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ, ನಾಶಮಾಡದೆ ಹೌದು, ಆತನು ಅನೇಕ ಸಾರಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

But he, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn't destroy them. Yes, many times he turned his anger away, And didn't stir up all his wrath.
39
ಅವರು ಕೇವಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರೆಂದು, ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಾರದ ಗಾಳಿಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಆತನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

He remembered that they were but flesh, A wind that passes away, and doesn't come again.
40
ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಾರಿ ಅವರು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ದುಃಖ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
40
How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, And grieved him in the desert!
41
ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ದೇವ ರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

They turned again and tempted God, And provoked the Holy One of Israel.
42
ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ವೈರಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ
42
They didn't remember his hand, Nor the day when he redeemed them from the adversary;
43
ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಸೂಚಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೋನ್‌ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿವಸವನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಕೈಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

How he set his signs in Egypt, His wonders in the field of Zoan,
44
ಅವರು ಕುಡಿ ಯಲಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಳೆಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

Turned their rivers into blood, And their streams, so that they could not drink.
45
ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಹುಳಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು, ಅವು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟವು; ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಅವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದವು.
45
He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them; And frogs, which destroyed them.
46
ಅವರ ಬೆಳೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕಂಬಳಿ ಹುಳಗಳಿಗೂ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಿಡಿತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು

He gave also their increase to the caterpillar, And their labor to the locust.
47
ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗ ಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆಲದ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಜಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿ
47
He destroyed their vines with hail, Their sycamore-fig trees with frost.
48
ಅವರ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಮ ಳೆಗೂ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಡಿಲಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

He gave over their cattle also to the hail, And their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
49
ಉಪದ್ರಪಡಿಸುವ ದೂತರನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯನ್ನು ಉಗ್ರ, ರೋಷ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿದನು.

He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, Wrath, indignation, and trouble, And a band of angels of evil.
50
ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಾವಿನಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸದೆ ಅವರ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಜಾಡ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ

He made a path for his anger. He didn't spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the pestilence,

ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲವಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದನು.

And struck all the firstborn in Egypt, The chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.
52
ಕುರಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೊರತಂದು, ಮಂದೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

But he led forth his own people like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
53
ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸಿದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಹೆದರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.

He led them safely, so that they weren't afraid, But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
54
ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ದಾಲಯದ ಮೇರೆಗೂ ಆತನ ಬಲಗೈ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಈ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

He brought them to the border of his sanctuary, To this mountain, which his right hand had taken.

He also drove out the nations before them, Allotted them for an inheritance by line, And made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ರೇಗಿಸಿದರು; ಆತನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, And didn't keep his testimonies;

ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ಅಪ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾಗಿ ಮೋಸದ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ವಾರೆ ಯಾದರು.

But turned back, and dealt treacherously like their fathers. They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

ತಮ್ಮ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ರೋಷವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು.

For they provoked him to anger with their high places, And moved him to jealousy with their engraved images.

ದೇವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಉಗ್ರನಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಬಹು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು,

When God heard this, he was angry, And greatly abhorred Israel;

ಸಿಲೋವಿನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಆತನು ಹಾಕಿದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು,

So that he forsook the tent of Shiloh, The tent which he placed among men;

ತನ್ನ ಬಲ ವನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಗೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ವೈರಿಯ ಕೈಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

And delivered his strength into captivity, His glory into the adversary's hand.

ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉಗ್ರನಾದನು.

He also gave his people over to the sword, And was angry with his inheritance.

ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಅವರ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Fire devoured their young men; Their virgins had no wedding song.

ಅವರ ಯಾಜಕರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹಾರವಾದರು; ಅವರ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ಗೋಳಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Their priests fell by the sword, And their widows couldn't weep.

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿದ್ದೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತವನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತು,

Then the Lord awakened as one out of sleep, Like a mighty man who shouts by reason of wine.

ತನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆದು, ನಿತ್ಯ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

He struck his adversaries backward. He put them to a perpetual reproach.

ಆತನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮನ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ,

Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, And didn't choose the tribe of Ephraim,

ಯೆಹೂದನ ಕುಲವನ್ನೂ ತಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನೂ ಆದುಕೊಂಡು,

But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.

ಉನ್ನತವಾದವುಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ತಾನು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು

He built his sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which he has established forever.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಕುರಿ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು,

He also chose David his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds;

ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನೂ ಭಾದ್ಯತೆಯಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನೂ ಮೇಯಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳ ಹಿಂಡಿ ನಿಂದ ತಂದನು.ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯಥಾ ರ್ಥತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

From following the ewes that have their young, He brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, And Israel, his inheritance.

ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯಥಾ ರ್ಥತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
