1ಕರ್ತನು ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾವು ಕನಸು ಕಂಡ ವರ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೆವು.
1A Song of Ascents. When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, We were like those who dream.
2ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿ ನಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದವು; ಆಗ ಅನ್ಯಜನರು--ಕರ್ತನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Yahweh has done great things for them."
3ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ.
3Yahweh has done great things for us, And we are glad.
4ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೊಳೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡು.
4Restore our fortunes again, Yahweh, Like the streams in the Negev.
5ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿ ನಿಂದ ಬಿತ್ತುವವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವರು. ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವವನುತನ್ನ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳನ್ನು ತರುವವನಾಗಿ, ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವನು.
5Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
6ತನ್ನ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳನ್ನು ತರುವವನಾಗಿ, ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವನು.
6He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, Will assuredly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
