1ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಕೂಗುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ? ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ?
1Doesn't wisdom cry out? Doesn't understanding raise her voice?
2ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ತುದಿಯ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾದಿಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
2On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she stands.
3ದ್ವಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿಯ ಪಟ್ಟ ಣದ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುವ ಬಾಗಲು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಕೆ ಕೂಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--
3Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entry doors, she cries aloud:
4ಓ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ನಾನು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
4"To you men, I call! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
5ಓ ಜ್ಞಾನಹೀನರೇ, ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿರಿ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರೇ, ನೀವು ತಿಳು ವಳಿಕೆಯ ಹೃದಯದವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
5You simple, understand prudence. You fools, be of an understanding heart.
6ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಉತ್ಕ್ರಷ್ಟ ವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡುವೆನು; ನ್ಯಾಯ ವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯು ವೆನು.
6Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.
7ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾತಾಡುವದು; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
7For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ; ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನವಾಗಲಿ ವಕ್ರತೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
9ಗ್ರಹಿ ಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಅವು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಅವು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.
9They are all plain to him who understands, Right to those who find knowledge.
10ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನೂ ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬಂಗಾ ರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದುಕೋ.
10Receive my instruction rather than silver; Knowledge rather than choice gold.
11ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ ಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಉತ್ತಮ, ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡತಕ್ಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗದು.
11For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can't be compared to it.
12ಜ್ಞಾನ ವೆಂಬ ನಾನು ವಿವೇಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯುಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
12"I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.
13ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವದು; ಗರ್ವ ಅಹಂಭಾವ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾರಿ ಮೂರ್ಖನಬಾಯಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ.
13The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
14ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೂ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ನನ್ನವು; ವಿವೇಕವು ನಾನೇ. ನನಗೆ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಿದೆ.
14Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
15ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜರು ಆಳುವರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ತೀರ್ಪು ಕೊಡುವರು.
15By me kings reign, And princes decree justice.
16ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಕೀರ್ತಿವಂತರೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಆಳುವರು.
16By me princes rule; Nobles, and all the righteous rulers of the earth.
17ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
17I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.
18ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೂ ಘನತೆಯೂ ಹೌದು, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಂಪತ್ತೂ ನೀತಿಯೂ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿವೆ.
18With me are riches, honor, Enduring wealth, and prosperity.
19ನನ್ನ ಫಲವು ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೌದು, ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಆದಾಯವು ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾಗಿದೆ.
19My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold; My yield than choice silver.
20ನೀತಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ದಾರಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
20I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice;
21ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರು ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸ ಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು.
21That I may give wealth to those who love me. I fill their treasuries.
22ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
22"Yahweh possessed me in the beginning of his work, Before his deeds of old.
23ನಿತ್ಯತ್ವದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆರಂಭದಿಂದ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಾನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟೆನು.
23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth existed.
24ಅಗಾಧಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ, ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.
24When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no springs abounding with water.
25ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ
25Before the mountains were settled in place, Before the hills, I was brought forth;
26ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಲ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಲೋಕದ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಭಾಗದ ಧೂಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಇನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸದೆ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಾನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.
26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world.
27ಆತನು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಗಾಧದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಕ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ದಾಗ
27When he established the heavens, I was there; When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,
28ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಗಾಧದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ
28When he established the clouds above, When the springs of the deep became strong,
29ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ತನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರದಂತೆ ಸಮು ದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಆತ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
29When he gave to the sea its boundary, That the waters should not violate his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth;
30ಆಗ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಳೆದ ವನಂತೆ ಆತನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇದ್ದೆನು; ದಿನಾಲು ನಾನು ಆತನ ಆನಂದವಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
30Then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, Always rejoicing before him,
31ಆತನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕುಮಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಆನಂದವಿದ್ದಿತು.
31Rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.
32ಆದದರಿಂದ ಓ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
32"Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, For blessed are those who keep my ways.
33ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸದೇ ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
33Hear instruction, and be wise. Don't refuse it.
34ನನ್ನ ದ್ವಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ನಿಲುವು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು.
34Blessed is the man who hears me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my door posts.
35ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ದಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು.ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
35For whoever finds me, finds life, And will obtain favor from Yahweh.
36ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
36But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death."
