ಕರ್ತನು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂತತಿಗಳು ಇವೇ:

Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Yahweh spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
2
ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಇವೇ; ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನು ನಾದಾಬನು, ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬೀಹೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು, ಈತಾಮಾರನು.

These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

ಅಭಿಷೇ ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳು ಇವೇ; ಇವರನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕೋದ್ಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುವ ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದನು.

These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.

ನಾದಾಬನೂ ಅಬೀಹೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸತ್ತರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾ ರನು ಈತಾಮಾರನು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕೋದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh, when they offered strange fire before Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the presence of Aaron their father.

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

ಲೇವಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು; ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲಿ.

"Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.
7
ಅವರು ಅವನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಗುಡಾರದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ.

They shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8
ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು.

They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9
ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು; ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರೇ.

You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರ ರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಲಿ. ಪರಕೀಯನು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು.

You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death."

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

ನಾನು ಇಗೋ, ನಾನೇ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭ ತೆರೆಯುವಂಥ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿರುವರು.

"Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine:
13
ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನವರೇ. ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಡೆದ ದಿನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು.

for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh."

ಕರ್ತನು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಎಣಿಸು. ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಎಣಿಸು ಅಂದನು.

"Number the children of Levi by their fathers' houses, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shall you number."
16
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಿದನು.

Moses numbered them according to the word of Yahweh, as he was commanded.
17
ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಇವೇ: ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನೂ ಕೆಹಾತನೂ ಮೆರಾರೀಯೂ.

These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18
ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವೇ; ಲಿಬ್ನೀಯೂ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯೂ.

These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
19
ಕೆಹಾತನ ಕುಮಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಮ್ರಾಮನೂ ಇಚ್ಹಾರನೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲನೂ.

The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, and Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20
ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಹ್ಲೀಯೂ ಮೂಷೀಯೂ. ತಂದೆಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಇವೇ.

The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
21
ಗೇರ್ಷೋನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಲಿಬ್ನೀಯ ಕುಟುಂಬ ದವರೂ ಶಿವ್ಮೆಾಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೂ, ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಇವೇ.
21
Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22
ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಂಡಸರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಐನೂರು ಮಂದಿ.

Those who were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those who were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.
23
ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಗುಡಾರದ ಹಿಂದುಗಡೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
24
ಲಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಸಾಫನು ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರ ತಂದೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು.

The prince of the fathers' house of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25
ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳು ಗುಡಾ ರವೂ ಅದರ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ತೆರೆಯೂ

The charge of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, its covering, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

ಅಂಗಳದ ತೆರೆಗಳೂ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೂ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅಂಗಳದ ಪರದೆಯೂ ಅಂಗಳದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ತೆರೆಯೂ ಅದರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳೂ ಇವೆ.

and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.
27
ಅಮ್ರಾಮಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಇಚ್ಹಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀ ಯೇಲರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಇವು ಕೆಹಾತರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಗಳು.

Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು ವವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಎಂಟು ಸಾವಿರದ ಆರು ನೂರು.

According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
29
ಕೆಹಾತನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
30
ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲನ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಎಲೀಚಾಫಾನು ಕೆಹಾತರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು.

The prince of the fathers' house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31
ಅವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯೇನಂದರೆ: ಮಂಜೂಷವೂ ಮೇಜೂ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವೂ ಬಲಿಪೀಠ ಗಳೂ ಅವರು ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳೂ ತೆರೆಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

Their charge shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the screen, and all its service.
32
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರುವ ಆರೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಚಾರಕನು ಅವನೇ.

Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the charge of the sanctuary.
33
ಮಹ್ಲೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಮೂಷೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬವೂ ಇವು ಮೆರಾರೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು.

Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.

ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸ ರೆಲ್ಲರ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರದ ಇನ್ನೂರು.

Those who were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
35
ಅಬೀಹೈಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಚೂರೀಯೇಲನು ಮೆರಾ ರೀಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು; ಅವರು ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

The prince of the fathers' house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
36
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಕುಮಾ ರರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ಅವರ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವುಗಳೂ ಯಾವವೆಂದರೆ: ಗುಡಾರದ ಹಲಗೆಗಳೂ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳೂ ಕಂಬಗಳೂ ಕುಣಿಕೆಗಳೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವೆಯೂ

The appointed charge of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle's boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
37
ಅಂಗಳದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಕಂಬಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಕುಣಿಕೆಗಳೂ ಗೂಟಗಳೂ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳೂ ಇವುಗಳೇ.

the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.
38
ಆದರೆ ಗುಡಾರದ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ. ಇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾ ಡುವವರು. ಪರಕೀಯನು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಬೇಕು.

Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
39
ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರು ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ.

All who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Yahweh, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
40
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Number all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ (ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು) ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

You shall take the Levites for me (I am Yahweh) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the cattle of the children of Israel."

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿರುವದೆ ಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದನು.

Moses numbered, as Yahweh commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚ ಲಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅಂದರೆ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತುಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

All the firstborn males according to the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.

ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದ ವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ದನ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ, ಲೇವಿಯರು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿರುವರು; ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು.

"Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿ ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವಾಗಿ

For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, who exceed the number of the Levites,

ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬ ನಿಗೆ ಐದು ಶೇಕೆಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಶೇಕೆಲಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ (ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಗೇರಾ) ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; after the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs):

ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವವರ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಆರೋ ನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

and you shall give the money, with which the remainder of them is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons."

ಹೀಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವಾದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರಿಂದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಶೇಕೆಲಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸಾವಿರದ ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಅರವ ತ್ತೈದು ಶೇಕೆಲುಗಳ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ವಿಮೋ ಚನೆಯ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ವಿಮೋ ಚನೆಯ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
