1ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ದೇಶವು ಅವರ ವಶವಾಯಿತು.
1The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there: and the land was subdued before them.
2ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಏಳು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳು ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದವು.
2There remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet divided their inheritance.
3ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ಆಲಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವಿರಿ?
3Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long are you slack to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4ಒಂದೊಂದು ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯೆತೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವರು, ತರುವಾಯ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಬೇಕು.
4Appoint for you three men of each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come to me.
5ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಏಳು ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಬೇಕು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂದಗೋತ್ರದವರೂ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆತನದವರೂ ನೆಲಸಬೇಕು.
5They shall divide it into seven portions: Judah shall abide in his border on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their border on the north.
6ನೀವು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಏಳು ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವೆನು.
6You shall describe the land into seven portions, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.
7ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವೇ ಅವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಾದನೂ ರೂಬೇನನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರವೂ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.
7For the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance: and Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.
8ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು. ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಅದರ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿ; ನಾನು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8The men arose, and went: and Joshua charged those who went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh in Shiloh.
9ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಏಳು ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಕೊಂಡು ಶೀಲೋವಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
9The men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven portions in a book; and they came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
10ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಚೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಪಾಲುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
10Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Yahweh: and there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.
11ಆಗ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಚೀಟು ಬಿದ್ದಿತು. ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಯು ಯಾವವಂದರೆ: ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕ ಳಿಗೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
11The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12ಅದರ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇರೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದನಿ ನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಉತ್ತರದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಏರಿ ಬೇತಾವೆ ನಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವದು.
12Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill-country westward; and the goings out of it were at the wilderness of Beth Aven.
13ಆ ಮೇರೆಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬೇತೇಲೆಂಬ ಲೂಜಿಗೆ ಹಾದು ಲೂಜಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಟಾರೋತದ್ದಾರಿನ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋರೋನಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವದು.
13The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (the same is Bethel), southward; and the border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.
14ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಮೇರೆಯು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮೂಲೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋರೋನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣವಾಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೂಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ಯಾರೀಮ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್‌ ಬಾಳದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮುಗಿಯುವದು. ಇದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಮೂಲೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
14The border extended there, and turned about on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and the goings out of it were at Kiriath Baal (the same is Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.
15ಆ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮೂಲೆಯು ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ಯಾರೀಮ್‌ ತುದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೆಫ್ತೋಹದ ಜಲಬುಗ್ಗೆಯ ಪರಿಯಂತರ ಹೊರಟು
15The south quarter was from the uttermost part of Kiriath Jearim; and the border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah;
16ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹಳ್ಳದ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ಕುಮಾರನ ಹಳ್ಳದ ತಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕಡೇ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರ ಮೇರೆ ಯಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮಿನ ಹಳ್ಳದ ತಗ್ಗಿಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಏನ್‌ರೋಗೆಲಿಗೂ ಏರಿ
16and the border went down to the uttermost part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward; and it went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel;
17ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಏನ್‌ಷೆಮೆಸ್‌ಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅದುವಿಾಮ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಗೆಲೀಲೋತಿಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ರೂಬೇನನ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಬೋಹನನ ಬಂಡೆಗಲ್ಲು ಏರಿ ಹೋಗಿ
17and it extended northward, and went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is over against the ascent of Adummim; and it went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben;
18ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅರಾಬಾಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆಹೊರಟು ಅರಾಬಾಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದು
18and it passed along to the side over against the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah;
19ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಆ ಮೇರೆ ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋಗ್ಲಾಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕಡೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮುಖದ್ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾದ ಉಪ್ಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಉತ್ತರ ಮೂಲೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು. ಅದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗದ ಮೇರೆ.
19and the border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the goings out of the border were at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan: this was the south border.
20ಮೂಡಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೊರ್ದನ್‌ ಅದರ ಮೇರೆ ಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಮೇರೆಗಳ ಒಳಗಿರುವ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
20The Jordan was the border of it on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders of it round about, according to their families.
21ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಯಾವವಂದರೆ: ಯೆರಿಕೋ, ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋಗ್ಲಾ, ಕೆಚ್ಚೀಚ್‌ ತಗ್ಗು
21Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Beth Hoglah, and Emek Keziz,
22ಬೇತ್‌ಅರಾಬಾ, ಚೆಮಾರಯಿಮ್‌, ಬೇತೇಲ್‌,
22and Beth Arabah, and Zemaraim, and Bethel,
23ಅವ್ವೀಮ್‌, ಪಾರಾ, ಒಫ್ರಾ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯ,
23and Avvim, and Parah, and Ophrah,
24ಕೆಫೆರ್‌, ಒಫ್ನೀ, ಗೆಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೂ
24and Chephar Ammoni, and Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages:
25ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನ್‌, ರಾಮಾ; ಬೇರೋತ್‌,
25Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
26ಮಿಚ್ಪೆ, ಕೆಫೀರಾ, ಮೋಚಾ,
26and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
27ರೆಕೆಮ್‌, ಇರ್ಪೇಲ್‌, ತರಲಾ,ಚೇಲ, ಎಲೆಫ್‌, ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ಇದ್ದಂಥ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಗಿಬೆಯತ್‌, ಕಿರ್ಯತ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು. ಇವೇ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇರುವ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
27and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
28ಚೇಲ, ಎಲೆಫ್‌, ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ಇದ್ದಂಥ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಗಿಬೆಯತ್‌, ಕಿರ್ಯತ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು. ಇವೇ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇರುವ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
28and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite (the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
