1ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ರಾಜನು ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಆಳುವನು, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ನ್ಯಾಯ ದಿಂದ ದೊರೆತನಮಾಡುವರು.
1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.
2ಆಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಗಾಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಣಗಿದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀರಿನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಯಾಸವುಳ್ಳ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಂಡೆಯ ನೆರಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವನು.
2A man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a weary land.
3ಆಗ ನೋಡುವವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮೊಬ್ಬಾಗವು, ಕೇಳುವವರ ಕಿವಿಗಳು ಮಂದವಾಗವು.
3The eyes of those who see shall not be dim, and the ears of those who hear shall listen.
4ಆತುರಗಾರರ ಹೃದಯವು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವದು, ತೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ವಾಗಿರುವದು.
4The heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನೀಚ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಘನವಂತನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳನು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಜಿಪುಣನು ಉದಾರ ನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗದು.
5The fool shall be no more called noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
6ನೀಚನು ನೀಚನಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು. ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಪಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾ ಸಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪೂ ರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುವವರಂತೆಯೂ ಹಸಿವೆ ಗೊಂಡವನ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು. ಬಾಯಾರಿದವನ ಪಾನವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾರಣನಾಗುವನು.
6For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against Yahweh, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7ಜಿಪುಣನ ಆಯುಧಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳೇ, ದರಿದ್ರನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೂ ಅವನು ಬಡವ ರನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿ (ದೋಷ)ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
7The instruments of the churl are evil: he devises wicked devices to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.
8ಘನವಂತನಾ ದರೋ, ಘನಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು; ಅವನು ಘನವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿರತನಾಗಿರುವನು.
8But the noble devises noble things; and in noble things shall he continue.
9ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯರಾದ ಹೆಂಗಸರೇ, ಏಳಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರ ವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
9Rise up, you women who are at ease, and hear my voice; you careless daughters, give ear to my speech.
10ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯ ಸ್ತ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ವರುಷದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳವಳ ಪಡುವಿರಿ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವ ಕಾಲ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವದು; ಹಣ್ಣು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಾರದು.
10For days beyond a year shall you be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the harvest shall not come.
11ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಹೆಂಗಸರೇ, ನೀವು ನಡುಗಿರಿ, ನಿರ್ಭೀತರೇ ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ಹಾಕಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
11Tremble, you women who are at ease; be troubled, you careless ones; strip yourselves, and make yourselves naked, and gird sackcloth on your loins.
12ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಹೊಲಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಫಲ ವತ್ತಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಎದೆ ಬಡುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವರು.
12They shall strike on the breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೂ ಹೌದು, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಮತ್ತು ದತ್ತೂರಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವವು.
13On the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
14ಅರಮನೆಗಳು ಕೈಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು. (ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸು ವವು) ಸಮೂಹಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿರ್ಜನ ವಾಗುವದು. ದುರ್ಗಗಳೂ ಕೋಟೆಗಳೂ ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಗುಹೆ (ಗವಿ)ಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೇಯುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು.
14For the palace shall be forsaken; the populous city shall be deserted; the hill and the watch-tower shall be for dens forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;
15ಬಳಿಕ ಉನ್ನತದಿಂದ ಆತ್ಮ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿ ಸಲ್ಪಡುವಾಗ, ಆಗ ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳು ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲ ವಾಗುವದು. ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲವು ಅರಣ್ಯವೆಂದೆಣಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುವದು.
15until the Spirit be poured on us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest.
16ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊ ಳ್ಳುವದು. ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು.
16Then justice shall dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness shall abide in the fruitful field.
17ನೀತಿಯ ಕೆಲಸವು ಸಮಾಧಾನವೂ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಭರವಸವೂ ಆಗಿರುವದು.
17The work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
18ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭದ್ರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
18My people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
19ಆದರೆ ಕಲ್ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯುವಾಗ ವನವು ಹಾಳಾಗು ವದು; ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ತಗ್ಗಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತುತ್ತಲೂ ಎತ್ತು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು (ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ) ಮೇಯ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುವ ನೀವು ಧನ್ಯರೇ ಸರಿ.
19But it shall hail in the downfall of the forest; and the city shall be utterly laid low.
20ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತುತ್ತಲೂ ಎತ್ತು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು (ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ) ಮೇಯ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುವ ನೀವು ಧನ್ಯರೇ ಸರಿ.
20Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send forth the feet of the ox and the donkey.
