1ನನ್ನ ಕಾವಲಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಗೋಪುರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುವನೋ, ನನ್ನ ತರ್ಕದ ವಿಷಯ ಏನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೋ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು.
1I will stand at my watch, and set myself on the ramparts, and will look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
2ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಬರೆ; ಓದುವವನು ಶೀಘ್ರ ವಾಗಿ ಓದುವಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಲಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತು.
2Yahweh answered me, "Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3ದರ್ಶನವು ಇನ್ನು ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಉಂಟು; ಆದರೆ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗದೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದು; ಅದು ತಡವಾ ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರು; ಅದು ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬರುವದು.
3For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay.
4ಇಗೋ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವನು.
4Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
5ಹೌದು, ಅವನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅಹಂಕಾರದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇವನು ಪಾತಾಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮರಣದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous. A haughty man who doesn't stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol, and he is like death, and can't be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations, and heaps to himself all peoples.
6ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯದ ಸಾಮತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಎತ್ತಿ--ತನಗಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಅದು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ? ತಾನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳರೋ?
6Won't all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, 'Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?'
7ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚುವವರು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳರೋ? ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸುವವರು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗರೋ? ಆಗ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಯಾಗುವಿ.
7Won't your debtors rise up suddenly, and wake up those who make you tremble, and you will be their victim?
8ನೀನು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡುವರು; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇಶ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ.
8Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples will plunder you, because of men's blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all who dwell in it.
9ತನ್ನ ಗೂಡನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಕೇಡಿನ ಕೈಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದುರ್ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ಆಶಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!
9Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!
10ಅನೇಕ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ.
10You have devised shame to your house, by cutting off many peoples, and have sinned against your soul.
11ಗೋಡೆಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕೂಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮರದ ತೊಲೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.
11For the stone will cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it.
12ಊರನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ದಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!
12Woe to him who builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity!
13ಇಗೋ, ಇದು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ? ಏನಂದರೆ, ಜನರು ಬೆಂಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮಪಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯರ್ಥಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಯಾಸಪಡುವದೇ.
13Behold, isn't it of Yahweh of Hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?
14ನೀರುಗಳು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವದು.
14For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
15ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವ ನಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಬುಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಯಿದು ಅವರ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಮಲೇರಿ ಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!
15"Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies!
16ಘನತೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನಿಂದೆ ಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದೀ; ನೀನು ಸಹ ಕುಡಿದು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೊಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡದಿರಲಿ. ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಗೈಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗುವದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಘನತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾರುವಿಕೆಯೂ ಲಜ್ಜೆಯೂ ಇರುವದು.
16You are filled with shame, and not glory. You will also drink, and be exposed! The cup of Yahweh's right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.
17ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಹಿಂಸೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವದು; ಮೃಗಗಳ ಸೂರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವದು; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ದೇಶ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಹಿಂಸೆಯು ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ.
17For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals, which made them afraid; because of men's blood, and for the violence done to the land, to every city and to those who dwell in them.
18ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದವನ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು? ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುವಂಥ, ಅದನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದವನು ಮೂಕ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡು ವಂಥ, ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು?
18"What value does the engraved image have, that its maker has engraved it; the molten image, even the teacher of lies, that he who fashions its form trusts in it, to make mute idols?
19ಮರಕ್ಕೆ--ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು; ಮೂಕವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ--ಎದ್ದು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಇಗೋ, ಅದು ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಸಿರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
19Woe to him who says to the wood, 'Awake!' or to the mute stone, 'Arise!' Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
20ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
20But Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!"
