1ದೇವರು ನೋಹನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಬಹುಸಂತಾನವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
1God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
2ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವವು ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಾನುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಯವು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯು ಇರುವದು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
2The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that the ground teems with, and all the fish of the sea are delivered into your hand.
3ಚಲಿಸುವ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಇರಲಿ, ಹಸುರು ಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As the green herb, I have given everything to you.
4ಆದರೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಜೀವವಿರುವ ರಕ್ತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀವು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
4But flesh with the life of it, the blood of it, you shall not eat.
5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವೆನು.
5I will surely require your blood of your lives. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man's brother, I will require the life of man.
6ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದಲೂ ಅವ ನವನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವೆನು. ಯಾವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುವನೋ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದಲೇ ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು.
6Whoever sheds man's blood, by man will his blood be shed, for in the image of God made he man.
7ನೀವು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಿ; ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7Be fruitful, and multiply. Bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply in it."
8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ನೋಹನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವಿರುವ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--
8God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿ ಯವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ
9"As for me, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your offspring after you,
10ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಅಂದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಸಹಿತ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ಪಶುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೂಡ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ
10and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every animal of the earth with you. Of all that go out of the ark, even every animal of the earth.
11ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯದಿಂದ ಶರೀರಗಳಾವವೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನು ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವು ಇರುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬದೇ.
11I will establish my covenant with you; neither will all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither will there any more be a flood to destroy the earth."
12ದೇವರು--ನನಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಇದೇ ಗುರುತು.
12God said, "This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13ನನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದು ನನಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವದು.
13I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
14ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಬರ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣುವದು.
14It will happen, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,
15ಆಗ ನಾನು ನನಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ದೇಹಗಳಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ಇನ್ನು ಶರೀರಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವಾ ಗುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
15and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh, and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16ಆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ದೇವರಾದ ನನಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ದೇಹಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
16The rainbow will be in the cloud. I will look at it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."
17ದೇವರು ನೋಹನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಹಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಗುರುತು ಇದೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
17God said to Noah, "This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth."
18ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದ ನೋಹನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಶೇಮ್‌ ಹಾಮ್‌ ಯೆಫೆತ್‌; ಹಾಮನು ಕಾನಾನನ ತಂದೆಯು.
18The sons of Noah who went forth from the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of Canaan.
19ಈ ಮೂವರು ನೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಇವರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
19These three were the sons of Noah, and from these, the whole earth was populated.
20ನೋಹನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯಗಾರನಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಒಂದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
20Noah began to be a farmer, and planted a vineyard.
21ಅವನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಅಮಲೇರಿ ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
21He drank of the wine, and got drunk. He was uncovered within his tent.
22ಕಾನಾನನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹೊರಗಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ದನು.
22Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.
23ಆಗ ಶೇಮನೂ ಯೆಫೆತನೂ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ಹಿಂಭಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದ ದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ಅವರು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
23Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it on both their shoulders, went in backwards, and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were backwards, and they didn't see their father's nakedness.
24ನೋಹನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಅಮಲಿನಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗನು ತನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವನು--
24Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done to him.
25ಕಾನಾನನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನಾಗಲಿ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ದಾಸಾನುದಾಸನಾ ಗಿರುವನು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--
25He said, "Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants will he be to his brothers."
26ಶೇಮನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಕಾನಾನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದಾಸನಾಗಿರಲಿ.
26He said, "Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Shem; Let Canaan be his servant.
27ಯೆಫೆತನನ್ನು ದೇವರು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಿ; ಅವನು ಶೇಮನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಕಾನಾನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದಾಸನಾಗಿರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
27God enlarge Japheth, Let him dwell in the tents of Shem; Let Canaan be his servant."
28ಪ್ರಳಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೋಹನು ಮೂನ್ನೂರ ಐವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.ನೋಹನ ದಿನ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಐವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
28Noah lived three hundred fifty years after the flood.
29ನೋಹನ ದಿನ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಐವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
29All the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, then he died.
