1ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ-- ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದಾಗ
1Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause you them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
2ಇಗೋ, ಆರು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಂದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಆಯುಧವು ಇತ್ತು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇಖಕನ ದೌತಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿ ದ್ದನು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಂಚಿನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತರು.
2Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
3ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿ ಮೆಯು ಯಾವದರ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತೋ ಆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮನೆಯ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಯಿತು; ತನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇಖಕನ ದೌತಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆ ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೂಗಿ
3The glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer's inkhorn by his side.
4ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾ ಅಳುತ್ತಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಹಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುರುತು ಹಾಕು ಅಂದನು.
4Yahweh said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst of it.
5ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ --ನೀವೂ ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊಡೆಯಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ, ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸದೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿ.
5To the others he said in my hearing, Go you through the city after him, and strike: don't let your eye spare, neither have you pity;
6ವೃದ್ಧ ಯುವಕ ಯುವತಿ ಯರನ್ನು ಎಳೆಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಗುರುತು ಯಾವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆಯೋ ಅವನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದಿದ್ದ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
6kill utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but don't come near any man on whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the old men that were before the house.
7ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಹತರಾದವರಿಂದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ, ಹೊರಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಹತಮಾಡಿದರು.
7He said to them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go you forth. They went forth, and struck in the city.
8ಅವರು ಹತಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮೋರೆ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಕೂಗಿ--ಹಾ, ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯುವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಿಯಾ ಎಂದೆನು.
8It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Yahweh! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?
9ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಅಕ್ರಮವು ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿದೆ; ದೇಶವು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ; ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಕ್ರತ್ವದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಕರ್ತನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
9Then said he to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of wrestling of judgment: for they say, Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh doesn't see.
10ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನಂತೂ ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.ಇಗೋ, ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ವರ್ತಮಾನ ವನ್ನು ತಂದು ನೀನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
10As for me also, my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head.
11ಇಗೋ, ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ವರ್ತಮಾನ ವನ್ನು ತಂದು ನೀನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
11Behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.
