1ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಹಂಚನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್‌ ನಗರದ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆ.

1You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before you, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem:

2ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ದಿಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟು; ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ದಂಡನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಭಿತ್ತಿಭೇದಕ ಮಾಡು ವಂಥ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡು.

2and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it round about.

3ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ತಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ನಿನಗೂ ನಗರಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಇಡು. ಆಗ ಅದು ಮುತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ನೀನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಮುತ್ತಿ ದಂತಾಗುವದು. ಇದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನೆತನದ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವದು.

3Take for yourself an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

4ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಡಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ವಂಶದವರ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿಡ ಬೇಕು; ನೀನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗುವ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿ ರಬೇಕು.

4Moreover lie you on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; according to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.

5ನಾನು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಅಕ್ರಮದ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವು ಮುನ್ನೂರತೊಂಭತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಬೇಕು.

5For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6ನೀನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿ ಯೆಹೂ ದನ ಮನೆಯ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಲವತ್ತು ದಿವಸ ಹೊರಬೇಕು; ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ದಿನವನ್ನು ಒಂದೊಂದು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

6Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it to you.

7ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಇಡಬೇಕು; ನಿನ್ನ ಭುಜವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಬೇಕು.

7You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.

8ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಮುಗಿ ಯುವವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.

8Behold, I lay bands on you, and you shall not turn you from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.

9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ಗೋಧಿ, ಬಾರ್ಲಿ, ಅವರೆ, ಅಲ ಸಂದಿ, ನವಣೆ, ಸಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗುವ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮುನ್ನೂರ ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳು ಅದರಿಂದಲೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

9Take for yourself also wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make you bread of it; according to the number of the days that you shall lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, shall you eat of it.

10ನೀನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಆಹಾರದ ತೂಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದು ಒಂದು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಶೇಕೆಲುಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

10Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.

11ನೀನು ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅಳತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕುಡಿಯಬೇಕು. ಹಿನ್ನಿನ ಆರನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯಬೇಕು.

11You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time shall you drink.

12ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಬಾರ್ಲಿಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಂತೆ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು; ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಮಲದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡಿಗೆಮಾಡಬೇಕು;

12You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.

13ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುವರು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

13Yahweh said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.

14ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು--ಹಾ! ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗ ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೂ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಸತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಹರಿದು ಚೂರು ಚೂರಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಾದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದೆನು.

14Then said I, Ah Lord Yahweh! behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

15ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಹಸುವಿನ ಸಗಣಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಬಹುದು ಅಂದನು.

15Then he said to me, Behold, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread thereon.

16ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನದಾನವನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯುವೆನು. ಅವರು ತೂಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು. ನೀರನ್ನು ಅಳತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕುಡಿಯುವರು.ಅವರಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರಿನ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುವರು.

16Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness; and they shall drink water by measure, and in dismay:

17ಅವರಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರಿನ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುವರು.

17that they may want bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
