ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು--ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I don't do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went.
