1ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು; ಈ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು, ಹೋಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
1He said to me, Son of man, eat that which you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.
2ಆಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದೆನು, ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಿಸಿದನು.
2So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll.
3ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವ ಈ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ಕರುಳುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲು ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೇನಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಿಹಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
3He said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4ನನಗೆ ಆತನು--ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಹೋಗು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮನೆಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡು.
4He said to me, Son of man, go, get you to the house of Israel, and speak with my words to them.
5ನೀನು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಜಿಗದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನ್ನಾಡುವ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವಿ.
5For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;
6ನೀನು ಕಠಿಣ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಜಿಗದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಲ್ಲ; ಇಂಥವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
6not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.
7ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಕಠಿಣ ಹೃದಯ ದವರೂ ನಿರ್ಲಜ್ಜರೂ (ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆಟ್ಟವರೂ) ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Israel are of hard forehead and of a stiff heart.
8ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹಣೆಗಳ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
8Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads.
9ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅಭೇದ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗಿಂತ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ವಜ್ರದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆತನದವರಾದರೂ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡ ಬೇಡ; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ಗಾಬರಿಯಾಗ ಬೇಡ.
9As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: don't be afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
10ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಆಡುವ ಈ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿಕೋ.
10Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
11ಹೋಗು, ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು, ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ಕೇಳದಿದ್ದರೂ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು.
11Go, get you to them of the captivity, to the children of your people, and speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
12ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತ್ಮನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ನಾನು--ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹರಸಲ್ಪಡಲೆಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಮಹಾಧ್ವನಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
12Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of Yahweh from his place.
13ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ತಗಲುವ ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಶಬ್ದ ವನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನೂ ಮಹಾಘೋಷದ ಶಬ್ದವು ನುಗ್ಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.
13I heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing.
14ಹೀಗೆ ಆತ್ಮನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು; ನಾನು ಕಹಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತ್ಮನ ಉರಿಯ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೋದೆನು; ಅದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
14So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of Yahweh was strong on me.
15ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಕೆಬಾರ್‌ ನದಿಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತೇಲ್‌ ಆಬೀಬಿನ ಸೆರೆಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದೆನು; ಅವರು ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಕುಳಿತು ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದೆನು.
15Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel Aviv, that lived by the river Chebar, and to where they lived; and I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.
16ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದು --
16It happened at the end of seven days, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
17ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯಲು ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕೊಡು.
17Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವಿ ಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಅವನ ದುಷ್ಟಮಾರ್ಗದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾಯು ವನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವೆನು.
18When I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.
19ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟ ನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ದುಷ್ಟಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾಯುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿ.
19Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn't turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
20ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡುವನೋ, ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡಚಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡುವೆನು, ಅವನು ಸಾಯು ವನು; ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದಲೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವನು; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅವನ ನೀತಿಯು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವೆನು;
20Again, when a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand.
21ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡದೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾದದರಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವನು; ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿ.
21Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.
22ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು; ನನಗೆ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ಬಯಲು ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
22The hand of Yahweh was there on me; and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.
23ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಎದ್ದು ಬಯಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದೆನು; ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ಅದು ಕೆಬಾರ್‌ ನದಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮುಖ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು.
23Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of Yahweh stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
24ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತ್ಮನು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ--ಹೋಗು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಅಡಗಿಕೋ.
24Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me on my feet; and he spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut yourself within your house.
25ನೀನಾದರೋ ಓ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂಧನ ಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವರು; ನೀನು ಅವರಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಲು ಆಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
25But you, son of man, behold, they shall lay bands on you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them:
26ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಲಿ ಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನೀನು ಮೂಕನಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವ ವನಾಗಲಾರೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆ ಯುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಕೇಳುವವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ, ಕೇಳದವನು ಕೇಳದೇ ಇರಲಿ. ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
26and I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be mute, and shall not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house.
27ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆ ಯುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಕೇಳುವವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ, ಕೇಳದವನು ಕೇಳದೇ ಇರಲಿ. ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
27But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: He who hears, let him hear; and he who forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
