1ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಿಯರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
1Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
2ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸುಗಂಧವಾಸನೆಯಾದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
2Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
3ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಜಾರತ್ವವಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಲೋಭವಾಗಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವುಗಳ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಸಲವಾದರೂ ಎತ್ತಬಾರದು.
3But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
4ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹೊಲಸುತನ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಮಾತು ಕುಚೋದ್ಯ ಇವು ಬೇಡ, ಅಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿವೆ; ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡುವದೇ ಉತ್ತಮ.
4nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.
5ಯಾವ ಜಾರನಾಗಲಿ, ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಲಿ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾಧಕನಂತಿರುವ ಲೋಭಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಲ್ಲವೇ.
5Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
6ಹುರುಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸದಿರಲಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಂಥವುಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.
6Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
7ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಲುಗಾರ ರಾಗಿರಬೇಡಿರಿ.
7Therefore don't be partakers with them.
8ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಿರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
8For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
9ಆತ್ಮನ ಫಲವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸತ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
9for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
10ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾದದ್ದೇ ನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿರಿ.
10proving what is well-pleasing to the Lord.
11ತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ವಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಫಲವೂ ಬರಲಾರದು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಿರದೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿರಿ.
11Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
12ಅವರು ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಾದರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
12For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
13ಆದರೆ ಖಂಡನೆಯಾಗುವವು ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದು ಬೆಳಕೇ.
13But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that is revealed is light.
14ಆದದರಿಂದ-- ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುವವನೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು, ಸತ್ತವರಿಂದ ಎದ್ದೇಳು; ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕೊಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಆತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
14Therefore he says, "Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
15ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು ನಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿ ರದೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
15Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;
16ದಿನಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳಾಗಿರು ವದರಿಂದ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಕಳೆಯದೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿ ಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
16redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17ಬುದ್ದಿಹೀನರಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಚಿತ್ತವೇನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
17Therefore don't be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18ಮದ್ಯಪಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತರಾಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಪಟಿಂಗತನವು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ. ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
18Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
19ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸಂಗೀತ ಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಆತ್ಮಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಹಾಡುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀವೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಗಾನಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇಂಪಾಗಿ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರ್ರಿ.
19speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and singing praises in your heart to the Lord;
20ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರ್ರಿ.
20giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;
21ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬರಿ ಗೊಬ್ಬರು ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
21subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.
22ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೇ, ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
22Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸಭೆಗೆ ತಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಗಂಡನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೆ ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು (ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು) ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ಷಕ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ,
23For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
24ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸಭೆಯು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧೀನ ರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
24But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
25ಪುರಷರೇ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸಹ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
26ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ
26that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
27ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಂಕ ಸುಕ್ಕು ಇಂಥಾದ್ದು ಯಾವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವೂ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸಭೆಯ ನ್ನಾಗಿ ತನಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
27that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪುರುಷರು ಸಹ ಸ್ವಂತ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಹಂಗಿನವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
28Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
29ಯಾರೂ ಎಂದೂ ಸ್ವಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
29For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;
30ನಾವು ಆತನ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳೂ ಮಾಂಸವೂ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
30because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
31ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ಪುರುಷನು ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರವಾಗಿರುವರು.
31"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."
32ಇದೊಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮರ್ಮವೇ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುರುಷನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವವಳಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
32This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.
33ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುರುಷನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವವಳಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
33Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
