ಆಗ ಈ ದಾನಿ ಯೇಲನಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆತ್ಮವು ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾ ಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
World English Bible
Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
