1ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚರನು ಬಂದನು. ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು.
1In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ, ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾದ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೂದವನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
2Yahweh sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
3ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದ ಇದು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ.
3Surely at the commandment of Yahweh came this on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
4ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ ನಿರಪರಾಧದ ರಕ್ತದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಇದು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಅವನು ನಿರಪರಾಧದ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
4and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Yahweh would not pardon.
5ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ಕೀಮನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
5Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸ ನಾದನು.
6So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
7ಆದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನದಿ ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್‌ ನದಿಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಐಗು ಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದನು.
7The king of Egypt didn't come again out of his land any more; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಎಲ್ನಾತಾನನ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ನೆಹು ಷ್ಟಾಳೆಂಬವಳು.
8Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
9He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that his father had done.
10ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚರನ ಸೇವಕರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
10At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
11Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city, while his servants were besieging it;
12ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನೂ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯೂ ಸೇವ ಕರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎಂಟನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದನು.
12and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
13He carried out there all the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of Yahweh, as Yahweh had said.
14ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕಮ್ಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಒಯ್ದನು; ದೇಶದ ಬಡವರ ಹೊರತು ಉಳಿದವರು ಯಾರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
14He carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆ ಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ದನು; ಅವನು ಅರಸನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದ ಬಲಶಾಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದನು.
15He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿವಂತರಾದ ಏಳುಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಾರರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಮ್ಮಾರರೂ ಆದ ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದನು.
16All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರ ಸನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನಾದ ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ ನನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನಿಟ್ಟನು.
17The king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king is his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪ ತ್ತೊಂದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಲಿಬ್ನದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹಮೂಟಲ್‌ ಎಂಬ ವಳು.
18Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ದೊಬ್ಬಿ ಹಾಕುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದನು.
19He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ದೊಬ್ಬಿ ಹಾಕುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದನು.
20For through the anger of Yahweh did it happen in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
