ಈ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಕಲ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೂ ಯಾವದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನೋ ಆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ತೋಪಿನ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು.

He set the engraved image of Asherah, that he had made, in the house of which Yahweh said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever;
