1ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊ ಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
1In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2ಅವನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರುಷದವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಯೆಕೊಲ್ಯಳು; ಅವಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳು.
2Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
3ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
3He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
4ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಜನರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
4However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
5ಕರ್ತನು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರು ವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಮನೆ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
5Yahweh struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.
6ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
6Now the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7ಅಜರ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
7Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his place.
8ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.
8In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
9ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
9He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as his fathers had done: he didn't depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
10ಆಗ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
10Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck him before the people, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
11ಇಗೋ, ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸು ಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
11Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರು ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಸಂತತಿಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವರು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇದೇ; ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು.
12This was the word of Yahweh which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel. So it came to pass.
13ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.
13Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned the space of a month in Samaria.
14ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸ ನಾದನು.
14Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
15ಇಗೋ, ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಳಸಂಚೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸು ಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
15Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16ಆಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿಪ್ಸಹನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತಿರ್ಚ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೀಳಿಸಿದನು.
16Then Menahem struck Tiphsah, and all who were therein, and the borders of it, from Tirzah: because they didn't open to him, therefore he struck it; and all the women therein who were with child he ripped up.
17ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳ ಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
17In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
18He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn't depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
19ಆದರೆ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೂಲನು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧೃಢಪಡಿಸಲು ಅವನ ಕೈ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಪೂಲನಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ತಲಾಂತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
19There came against the land Pul the king of Assyria; and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಈ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತ ರಿಂದ ತಲಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಶೆಕೇಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
20Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and didn't stay there in the land.
21ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
21Now the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
22ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕ ಹನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು;
22Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.
23ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
23In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
24ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾ ದಂಥ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
24He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn't depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
25ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದಂಥ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅರ್ಗೋಬನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಯೇಯನ್ನೂ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಿಗಿದ್ದ ಅರಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
25Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and struck him in Samaria, in the castle of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his place.
26ಇಗೋ, ಪೆಕಹನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸು ಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
26Now the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
27ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
27In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
28ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು; ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
28He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn't depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
29ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನು ಬಂದು ನೆಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ದೇಶವಾದ ಇಯ್ಯೋನನ್ನೂ ಅಬೇಲ್ಬೆತ್ಮಾಕವನ್ನೂ ಯಾನೋಹ ವನ್ನೂ ಕೆದೆಷನ್ನೂ ಹಾಚೋರನ್ನೂ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ್ನೂ ಗಲಿಲಾಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ಯೂರಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ದನು.
29In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel Beth Maacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
30ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಶೆಯನು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
30Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him, and killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
31ಇಗೋ, ಪೆಕಹನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
31Now the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
32ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದಂಥ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ, ಪೆಕಹನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದಂಥ, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ, ಯೋತಾಮನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
32In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33ಅವನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷ ದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದ ಯೆರೂಷಳು.
33He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
34ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
34He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh; he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35ಇವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಜನರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
35However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh.

37ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಅರಾ ಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿ ಸಿದನು.ಯೋತಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

38ಯೋತಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
38Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
