ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪೌಲನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಸೊಸ್ಥೆ ನನೂ

Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

ಕೊರಿಂಥದಲ್ಲಿನ ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತರೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೂ ನಮಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ

to the assembly of God which is at Corinth; those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೂ ಆಗಲಿ.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿ ಸಿದ ಕೃಪೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;

ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.

even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

ಹೀಗಿ ರಲಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಯಾವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಬರೋಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;

ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸದಂತೆ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಡೇವರೆಗೂ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸುವನು.

who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ದೇವರು ನಂಬಿ ಗಸ್ತನು; ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂಬ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯತೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದವನು ಆತನೇ.

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
10
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಮಾತು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇದಗಳಿರಬಾರದು, ನೀವು ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವೂ ಉಳ್ಳವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳಗಳುಂಟೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಖ್ಲೋಯೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂತು.

For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.

ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಈಗ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮೊ ಳಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು--ನಾನು ಪೌಲನವನು, ನಾನು ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನವನು, ನಾನು ಕೇಫನವನು, ನಾನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನಂತೆ.

Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Cephas," and, "I follow Christ."

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ವಿಭಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ? ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು ಪೌಲನೋ? ನೀವು ಪೌಲನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರೋ?

Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಪನಿಗೂ ಗಾಯನಿಗೂ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತಾರಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

I thank God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
15
ಹೀಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರೆಂದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗದು.

so that no one should say that I had baptized you into my own name.

ನಾನು ಸ್ತೆಫನನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದೆನು. ಇವರಿಗಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನಾರಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕಾಣೆನು.

(I also baptized the household of Stephanas; besides them, I don't know whether I baptized any other.)
17
ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ, ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ವಾಕ್ಚಾತುರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸಾರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಗೆ ಸಾರಿದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯು ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾಗುವದು.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel�not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn't be made void.

ನಾಶವಾಗುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಸಾರೋಣವು ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವಾಗಿದೆ; ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ ನಮಗಾದರೋ ಅದು ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
19
ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು; ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳ ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."
20
ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಲೋಕದ ತರ್ಕವಾದಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ದೇವರು ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲವೇ?

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕವು(ತನ್ನ) ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದ ದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಂಗದ ಹುಚ್ಚುತನದಿಂದಲೇ ನಂಬುವ ವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
22
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಗ್ರೀಕರು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ;

For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
23
ನಾವಾದರೋ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚುರ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆತನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರವೂ ಗ್ರೀಕರಿಗೆ ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,
24
ಆದರೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಗ್ರೀಕರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ದೇವರ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25
ದೇವರ ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವರ ಬಲಹೀನತೆಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಎಂಥವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದನೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಲೌಕಿಕದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಲ್ಲ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಲ್ಲ, ಕುಲೀನರೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಲ್ಲ.

For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
27
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ದೇವರು ಬಲಿಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಬಲಹೀನರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ;

but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
28
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಇರುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಹೀನವಾದವರನ್ನೂ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಯಾದವರನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಣನೆಗೆ ಬಾರದವರನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
29
ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿಲ್ಲ.

that no flesh should boast before God.
30
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವದು ಆತನಿಂದಲೇ; ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನೀತಿ ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣ ವಿಮೋಚನೆ ಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುವವನು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು.

But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
31
ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುವವನು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು.

that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."
