1सचमुच मैं चुपचाप होकर परमेरश्वर की ओर मन लगाए हूं; मेरा उद्धार उसी से होता है।
1For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
2सचमुच वही, मेरी चट्टान और मेरा उद्धार है, वह मेरा गढ़ है; मैं बहुत न डिगूंगा।।
2He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress� I will never be greatly shaken.
3तुम कब तक एक पुरूष पर धावा करते रहोगे, कि सब मिलकर उसका घात करो? वह तो झुकी हुई भीत वा गिरते हुए बाड़े के समान है।
3How long will you assault a man, Would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
4सचमुच वे उसको, उसके ऊंचे पद से गिराने की सम्मति करते हैं; वे झूठ से प्रसन्न रहते हैं। मुंह से तो वे आशीर्वाद देते पर मन में कोसते हैं।।
4They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5हे मेरे मन, परमेश्वर के साम्हने चुपचाप रह, क्योंकि मेरी आशा उसी से है।
5My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my expectation is from him.
6सचमुच वही मेरी चट्टान, और मेरा उद्धार है, वह मेरा गढ़ है; इसलिये मैं न डिगूंगा।
6He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.
7मेरा उद्धार और मेरी महिमा का आधार परमेश्वर है; मेरी दृढ़ चट्टान, और मेरा शरणस्थान परमेश्वर है।
7With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8हे लोगो, हर समय उस पर भरोसा रखो; उस से अपने अपने मन की बातें खोलकर कहो; परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थान है।
8Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9सचमुच नीच लोग तो अस्थाई, और बड़े लोग मिथ्या ही हैं; तौल में वे हलके निकलते हैं; वे सब के सब सांस से भी हलके हैं।
9Surely men of low degree are just a breath, And men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10अन्धेर करने पर भरोसा मत रखो, और लूट पाट करने पर मत फूलो; चाहे धन सम्पति बढ़े, तौभी उस पर मन न लगाना।।
10Don't trust in oppression. Don't become vain in robbery. If riches increase, Don't set your heart on them.
11परमेश्वर ने एक बार कहा है; और दो बार मैं ने यह सुना है: कि सामर्थ्य परमेश्वर का है।
11God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this, That power belongs to God.
12और हे प्रभु, करूणा भी तेरी है। क्योंकि तू एक एक जन को उसके काम के अनुसार फल देता है।।
12Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, For you reward every man according to his work.
