1हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मनुष्य मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं। वे दिन भर लड़कर मुझे सताते हैं।
1For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Silent Dove in Distant Lands." A poem by David, when the Philistines seized him in Gath. Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.
2मेरे द्रोही दिन भर मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं, क्योंकि जो लोग अभिमान करके मुझ से लड़ते हैं वे बहुत हैं।
2My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, For they are many who fight proudly against me.
3जिस समय मुझे डल लगेगा, मैं तुझ पर भरोसा रखूंगा।
3When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
4परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा, परमेश्वर पर मैं ने भरोसा रखा है, मैं नहीं डरूंगा। कोई प्राणी मेरा क्या कर सकता है?
4In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
5वे दिन भर मेरे वचनों को, उलटा अर्थ लगा लगाकर मरोड़ते रहते हैंद्ध उनकी सारी कल्पनाएं मेरी ही बुराई करने की होती है।
5All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.
6वे सब मिलकर इकट्ठे होते हैं और छिपकर बैठते हैं; वे मेरे कदमों को देखते भालते हैं मानों वे मेरे प्राणों की घात में ताक लगाए बैठें हों।
6They conspire and lurk, Watching my steps, they are eager to take my life.
7क्या वे बुराई करके भी बच जाएंगे? हे परमेश्वर, अपने क्रोध से देश देश के लोगों को गिरा दे!
7Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.
8तू मेरे मारे मारे फिरने का हिसाब रखता है; तू मेरे आंसुओं को अपनी कुप्पी में रख ले! क्या उनकी चर्चा तेरी पुस्तक में नहीं है?
8You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren't they in your book?
9जब जिस समय मैं पुकारूंगा, उसी समय मेरे शत्रु उलटे फिरेंगे। यह मैं जानता हूं, कि परमेश्वर मेरी ओर है।
9Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this, that God is for me.
10परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा, यहोवा की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा।
10In God, I will praise his word. In Yahweh, I will praise his word.
11मैं ने परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखा है, मैं न डरूंगा। मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है?
11I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
12हे परमेश्वर, तेरी मन्नतों का भरा मुझ पर बना है; मैं तुझ को धन्यवाद बलि चढ़ाऊंगा।
12Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.
13क्योंकि तू ने मुझ को मृत्यु से बचाया है; तू ने मेरे पैरों को भी फिसलने से न बचाया, ताकि मैं ईश्वर के साम्हने जीवतों के उजियाले में चलूं फिरूं?
13For you have delivered my soul from death, And prevented my feet from falling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living.
