1जब यहोवा सिरयोन से लौअनेवालों को लौटा ले आया, तब हम स्वप्त देखनेवाले से हो गए।
1A Song of Ascents. When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, We were like those who dream.
2तब हम आनन्द से हंसने और जयजयकार करने लगे; तब जाति जाति के बीच में कहा जाता था, कि यहोवा ने, इनके साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं।
2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Yahweh has done great things for them."
3यहोवा ने हमारे साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं; और इस से हम आनन्दित हैं।।
3Yahweh has done great things for us, And we are glad.
4हे यहोवा, दक्खिन देश के नालों की नाईं, हमारे बन्धुओं को लौटा ले आ!
4Restore our fortunes again, Yahweh, Like the streams in the Negev.
5जो आंसू बहाते हुए बोते हैं, वे जयजयकार करते हुए लवने पाएंगे।
5Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
6चाहे बोनेवाला बीज लेकर रोता हुआ चला जाए, परन्तु वह फिर पूलियां लिए जयजयकार करता हुआ निश्चय लौट आएगा।।
6He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, Will assuredly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
