1हे यहोवा, हमारी नहीं, हमारी नहीं, वरन अपने ही नाम की महिमा, अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई के निमित्त कर।
1Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, But to your name give glory, For your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake.
2जाति जाति के लोग क्यों कहने पांए, कि उनका परमेश्वर कहां रहा?
2Why should the nations say, "Where is their God, now?"
3हमारा परमेश्वर तो स्वर्ग में हैं; उस ने जो चाहा वही किया है।
3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4उन लोगों की मूरतें सोने चान्दी ही की तो हैं, वे मनुष्यों के हाथ की बनाई हुई हैं।
4Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
5उनक मुंह तो रहता है परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती; उनके आंखें तो रहती हैं परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकतीं।
5They have mouths, but they don't speak; They have eyes, but they don't see;
6उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकतीं; उनके नाक तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे सूंघ नहीं सकतीं।
6They have ears, but they don't hear; They have noses, but they don't smell;
7उनके हाथ तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे स्पर्श नहीं कर सकतीं; उनके पांव तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे चल नहीं सकतीं; और उनके कण्ठ से कुछ भी शब्द नहीं निकाल सकतीं।
7They have hands, but they don't feel; They have feet, but they don't walk; Neither do they speak through their throat.
8जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनानेवाले हैं; और उन पर भरोसा रखनेवाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएंगे।।
8Those who make them will be like them; Yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9हे इस्राएल यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।
9Israel, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
10हे हारून के घराने यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।
10House of Aaron, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
11हे यहोवा के डरवैयो, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो! तुम्हारा सहायक और ढाल वही है।।
11You who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.
12यहोवा ने हम को स्मरण किया है; वह आशीष देगा; वह इस्राएल के घराने को आशीष देगा; वह हारून के घराने को आशीष देगा।
12Yahweh remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
13क्या छोटे क्या बड़े जितने यहोवा के डरवैये हैं, वह उन्हें आशीष देगा।।
13He will bless those who fear Yahweh, Both small and great.
14यहोवा तुम को और तुम्हारे लड़कों को भी अधिक बढ़ाता जाए!
14May Yahweh increase you more and more, You and your children.
15यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्ता है, उसकी ओर से तुम अशीष पाए हो।।
15Blessed are you by Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth.
16स्वर्ग तो यहोवा का है, परन्तु पृथ्वी उस ने मनुष्यों को दी है।
16The heavens are the heavens of Yahweh; But the earth has he given to the children of men.
17मृतक जितने चुपचाप पड़े हैं, वे तो याह की स्तुति नहीं कर सकते,
17The dead don't praise Yah, Neither any who go down into silence;
18परन्तु हम लोग याह को अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक धन्य कहते रहेंगे। याह की स्तुति करो!
18But we will bless Yah, From this time forth and forevermore. Praise Yah!
