मेरी समझ में परमेश्वर ने हम प्ररितों को सब के बाद उन लोगों की नाई ठहराया है, जिन की मृत्यु की आज्ञा हो चुकी हो; क्योंकि हम जगत और स्वर्गदूतों और मनुष्यों के लिये तमाशा ठहरे हैं।

For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
