1हे भाइयों, मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम आत्मिक बरदानों के विषय में अज्ञात रहो।
1Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant.
2तुम जानते हो, कि जब तुम अन्यजाति थे, तो गूंगी मूरतों के पीछे जेसे चलाए जाते थे वैसे चलते थे।
2You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
3इसलिये मैं तुम्हें चितौनी देता हूं कि जो कोई परमेश्वर की आत्मा की अगुआई से बोलता है, वह नहीं कहता कि यीशु स्त्रापित है; और न कोई पवित्रा आत्मा के बिना कह सकता है कि यीशु प्रभु है।।
3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.
4बरदान तो कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु आत्मा एक ही है।
4Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5और सेवा भी कई प्रकार की है, परन्तु प्रभु एक ही है।
5There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
6और प्रभावशाली कारर्य कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु परमशॆवर एक ही है, जो सब में हर प्रकार का प्रभाव उत्पन्न करता है।
6There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
7किन्तु सब के लाभ पहुंचाने के लिये हर एक को आत्मा का प्रकाश दिया जाता है।
7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
8क्योंकि एक को आत्मा के द्वारा बुद्वि की बातें दी जाती हैं; और दूसरे को उसी आत्मा के अनुसार ज्ञान की बातें।
8For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9और किसी को उसी आत्मा से विश्वास; और किसी को उसी एक आत्मा से चंगा करने का बरदान दिया जाता है।
9to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;
10फिर किसी को सामर्थ के काम करने की शक्ति; और किसी को भविष्यद्वाणी की; और किसी को अनेक प्रकार की भाषा; और किसी को भाषाओं का अर्थ बताना।
10and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.
11परन्तु ये सब प्रभावशाली कारर्य वही एक आत्मा करवाता है, और जिसे जो चाहता है वह बांट देता है।।
11But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
12क्योंकि जिस प्रकार देह तो एक है और उसके अंग बहुत से हैं, और उस एक देह के सब अंग, बहुत होने पर भी सब मिलकर एक ही देह हैं, उसी प्रकार मसीह भी है।
12For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
13क्योंकि हम सब ने क्या यहूदी हो, क्या युनानी, क्या दास, क्या स्वतंत्रा एक ही आत्मा के द्वारा एक देह होने के लिये बपतिस्मा लिया, और हम एक को एक ही आत्मा पिलाया गया।
13For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
14इसलिये कि देह में एक ही अंग नहीं, परन्तु बहुत से हैं।
14For the body is not one member, but many.
15यदि पांव कहे: कि मैं हाथ नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं?
15If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body.
16और यदि कान कहे; कि मैं आंख का नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं।
16If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body.
17यदि सारी देह आंख की होती तो सुनना कहां से होता? यदि सारी देह कान ही होती तो सूंघना कहां होता?
17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?
18परन्तु सचमुच परमेश्वर ने अंगो को अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार एक एक करके देह में रखा है।
18But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
19यदि वे सब एक ही अंग होते, तो देह कहां होती?
19If they were all one member, where would the body be?
20परन्तु अब अंग तो बहुत से हैं, परन्तु देह एक ही है।
20But now they are many members, but one body.
21आंख हाथ से नहीं कह सकती, कि मुझे तेरा प्रयोजन नहीं, और न सिर पांवों से कह सकता है, कि मुझे तुम्हारा प्रयोजन नहीं।
21The eye can't tell the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
22परन्तु देह के वे अंग जो औरों से निर्बल देख पड़ते हैं, बहुत ही आवश्यक हैं।
22No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23और देह के जिन अंगो को हम आदर के योग्य नहीं समझते हैं उन्ही को हम अधिक आदर देते हैं; और हमारे शोभाहीन अंग और भी बहुत शोभायमान हो जाते हैं।
23Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;
24फिर भी हमारे शोभायमान अंगो केा इस का प्रयोजन नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने देह को ऐसा बना दिया है, कि जिस अंग को घटी थी उसी को और भी बहुत आदर हो।
24whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,
25ताकि देह में फूट न पड़े, परन्तु अंग एक दूसरे की बराबर चिन्ता करें।
25that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26इसलिये यदि एक अंग दु:ख पाता है, तो सब अंग उसके साथ दु:ख पाते हैं; और यदि एक अंग की बड़ाई होती है, तो उसके साथ सब अंग आनन्द मनाते हैं।
26When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27इसी प्रकार तुम सब मिलकर मसीह की देह हो, और अलग अलग उसके अंग हो।
27Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
28और परमशॆवर ने कलीसिया में अलग अलग व्यक्ति नियुक्त किए हैं; प्रथम प्रेरित, दूसरे भविष्यद्वक्ता, तीसरे शिक्षक, फिर सामर्थ के काम करनेवाले, फिर चंगा करनेवाले, और उपकार करनेवाले, और प्रधान, और नाना प्रकार की भाषा बालनेवाले।
28God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.
29क्या सब प्रेरित हैं? क्या सब भविष्यद्वक्ता हैं? क्या सब उपदेशक हैं? क्या सब सामर्थ के काम करनेवाले हैं?
29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
30क्या सब को चंगा करने का बरदान मिला है? क्या सब नाना प्रकार की भाषा बोलते हैं?
30Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?
31क्या सब अनुवाद करते हैं? तुम बड़ी से बड़ी बरदानों की धुन में रहो! परन्तु मैं तुम्हें और भी सब से उत्तम मार्ग बताता हूं।।
31But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
