3हनोक, मतूशेलह, लेमेक;
3Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
4नूह, शेम, हाम और येपेत ।
4Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5येपेत के पुत्रा : गोमेर, मागोग, मादै, सावान, तूबल, मेशेक और तीरास हैं।
5The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6और गोमेर के पुत्रा : अशकनज, दीपत और तोगर्मा हैं।
6The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7और यावान के पुत्रा : एलीशा, तश श, और कित्ती और रोदानी लोग हैं।
7The sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8हाम के पुत्रा : कुश, मिस्र, पूत और कनान हैं।
8The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

10Cush became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11और मिस्र से लूदी, अनामी, लहावी, नप्तही।
11Mizraim became the father of Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12पत्रूसी, कसलूही ( वहां से पलिश्ती निकले ) और कप्तोरी उत्पन्न हुए।
12and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whence came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.
13कनान से उसका जेठा सीदोन और हित्त।
13Canaan became the father of Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14और यबूसी, एमोरी, गिर्गाशी।
14and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15हिरवी, अक ,सीनी।
15and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16अर्वदी, समारी और हमाती उत्पन्न हुए।
16and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17शेम के पुत्रा : एलाम, अश्शूर, अर्पक्षद, लूद, अराम, ऊस, हूल, गेतेर और मेशेक हैं।
17The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18और अर्पक्षद से शेलह और शेलह से एबेर उत्पन्न हुआ।
18Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.
19और एबेर के दो पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए : एक का नाम पेलेग इस कारण रखा गया कि उसके दिनों में पृथ्वी बांटी गई; और उसके भाई का नाम योक्तान था।
19To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

20Joktan became the father of Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21हदोराम, ऊजाल, दिक्ला।
21and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22एबाल, अबीमाएल, शबा,
22and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23ओपीर, हवीला और सोबाब उत्पन्न हुए; ये ही सब योक्तान के पुत्रा हैं।
23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24शेम, अर्पक्षद, शेलह।
24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25एबेर, पेलेग, रू।
25Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26सरूग, नाहोर, तेरह,
26Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27अब्राम, वही इब्राहीम भी कहलाता है।
27Abram (the same is Abraham).
28इब्राहीम के पुत्रा इसहाक और इश्माएल हैं।
28The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29इनकी वंशावलियां ये हैं। इश्माएल का जेठा नवायोत, फिर केदार, अदवेल, मिबसाम।
29These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30मिश्मा, दूमा, मस्सा, हदद, तेमा।
30Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31यतूर, नापीश, केदमा। ये इश्माएल के पुत्रा हुए।
31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32फिर कतूरा जो इब्राहीम की रखेली थी, उसके ये पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए, अर्थात् उस से जिम्रान, योक्षान, मदान, मिद्यान, यिशबाक और शूह उत्पन्न हुए। योक्षान के पुत्रा : शबा और ददात।
32The sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33और मिद्यान के पुत्रा : एपा, एपेर, हनोक, अबीदा और एलदा, ये सब कतूरा के पुत्रा हैं।
33The sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34इब्राहीम से इसहाक उत्पन्न हुआ। इसहाक के पुत्रा : एसाव और इस्राएल।
34Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35एसाव के पुत्रा : एलीपज, रूएल, यूश, यालाम और कोरह हैं।
35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36एलीपज के ये पुत्रा हैं : तेमान, ओमार, सपी, गाताम, कनज, तिम्ना और अपालेक।
36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37रूएल के पुत्रा : नहत, जेरह, शम्मा और मिज्जा।
37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38फिर सेईर के पुत्रा : लोतान, शोबाल, सिबोेन, अना, दीशोन, एसेर और दीशान हैं।
38The sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39और लोतान के पुत्रा : होरी और होमाम, और लोतान की बहिन तिम्ना थीं।
39The sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40शोबाल के पुत्रा : अल्यान, मानहत, एबाल, शषी और ओनाम।
40The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41और सिबोन के पुत्रा : अरया, और अना। अना का पुत्रा : दीशोन। और दीशोन के पुत्रा : हम्रान, एशबान, यित्रान और करान।
41The sons of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42एसेर के पुत्रा बिल्हान, जाचान और याकान। और दीशान के पुत्रा : ऊस और अरान हैं।
42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
43जब किसी राजा ने इस्राएलियों पर राज्य न किया था, तब एदोम के देश में ये राजा हुए : अर्थात् बोर का पुत्रा बेला और उसकी राजधानी का नाम दिन्हाबा था।
43Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there resigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44बेला के मरने पर, बोस्राई जेरह का पुत्रा योबाब, उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
44Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
45और योबाब के मरने पर, तेमानियों के देश का हूशाम उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
45Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
46फिर हूशाम के मरने पर, बदद का पुत्रा हदद, उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ : यह वही है, जिस ने मिद्यानियों को मोआब के देश में मार लिया; और उसकी राजधानी का नाम अबीत था।
46Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
47और हदद के मरने पर, मस्रेकाई सम्ला उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
47Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
48फिर सम्ला के मरने पर शाऊल, जो महानद के तट पर के रहोबोत नगर का था, वह उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
48Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place.
49और शाऊल के मरने पर अकबोर का पुत्रा बाल्हानान उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
49Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

50Baal Hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
51फिर एदोम के अधिपति ये थे : अर्थात् अधिपति तिम्ना, अधिपति अल्या, अधिपति यतेत, अधिपति ओहोलीवामा,
51Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52अधिपति एला, अधिपति पीनोन, अधिपति कनज,
52chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53अधिपति तेमान, अधिपति मिबसार, अधिपति मग्दीएल, अधिपति ईराम।
53chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54एदोम के ये अधिपति हुए।
54chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
