હું તને સલાહ આપુ છું કે તું મારી પાસેથી અગ્નિમાં શુદ્ધ કરેલુ સોનું વેચાતું લે. પછી તું સાચો શ્રીમંત થઈ શકીશ. હું તને આ કહું છું. ઊજળાં વસ્ત્રો જે છે તે ખરીદ. પછી તું તારી શરમજનક નગ્નતાને ઢાંકી શકીશ. હું તને આંખોમા આંજવાનું અંજન પણ ખરીદવાનુ કહું છું. પછી તું ખરેખર જોઈ શકીશ.

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.
