1યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરવી અને આભાર વ્યકત કરવો અને તમારા નામના, પરાત્પર દેવના સ્તોત્ર ગાન કરવા તે સારું છે.
1A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;
2દસ તારવાળા વાજીંત્ર તથા સિતાર કે વીણાના મધુર સ્વર સાથે ગાવું તે ખરેખર સારું છે.
2To proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,
3પ્રત્યેક સવારે તેમના માટે તમારો પ્રેમ વ્યકત કરો, અને પ્રત્યેક રાત્રે તેમનામાં તમારો વિશ્વાસ વ્યકત કરો.
3With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.
4હે યહોવા, તમે તમારા કૃત્યોથી મને આનંદ પમાડ્યો છે; હું તમારા હાથે થયેલાં કામને લીધે હર્ષનાદ કરીશ.
4For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.
5હે યહોવા, તમારા કૃત્યો કેવાં મહાન છે! તમારા વિચારો બહુ ગહન છે.
5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.
6ઊંડો વિચાર ન કરી શકે તેવા લોકો તે સમજી શકતાં નથી, અને મૂર્ખ માણસ કદાપિ તેનો અર્થ પામી શકતો નથી.
6A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:
7દુષ્ટ માણસો ઘાસની જેમ પુષ્કળ ઉગે છે, ભૂંડુ કરનાર દરેક જગાએ ફૂટી નીકળે છે. પણ તેમનો સદાને માટે વિનાશ થશે.
7Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.
8પણ, હે યહોવા, તમે સર્વકાળનાં પરાત્પર દેવ છો.
8But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.
9હે યહોવા, તમારા શત્રુઓ અવશ્ય નાશ પામશે; અને સર્વ ભૂંડુ કરનારાઓ વિખેરાઇ જશે.
9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.
10પણ તમે મને, જંગલી ગોધાના જેવો, બળવાન કર્યો છે; મને મૂલ્યવાન તેલ ચોળવામાં આવ્યું છે, જે ચેતનવંતો બનાવે.
10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.
11મેં નજરે નિહાળ્યું છે ને મારા શત્રુઓની હાર થઇ છે; અને મેં સાંભળ્યું છે, કે મારા દુષ્ટ દુશ્મનોને ભગાડી મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે.
11My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.
12સદાચારી લોકો તાડના વૃક્ષની જેમ ખીલશે અને લબાનોનના દેવદાર વૃક્ષોની જેમ વધશે.
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13યહોવાના મંદિરમાં જેઓને રોપવામાં આવેલા છે; તેઓ આપણા દેવનાં આંગણામાં ખીલી ઊઠશે.
13They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.
14તેઓ ઘડપણમાં પણ ફળધારક થશે, અને તેઓ તાજાં લીલાં વૃક્ષો જેવાં હશે.
14They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
15તેથી તેઓ કહેશે કે, યહોવા સારા અને પ્રામાણિક છે. તેઓ મારા ખડક છે, અને તેમના વિશે કઁઇ અન્યાયી નથીં.
15To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, And there is no unrighteousness in him.
