1હે દેવ, તમે છાના ન રહો; હે દેવ, તમે ચૂપ ન રહો; અને શાંત ન રહો.
1A song. A Psalm by Asaph. God, don't keep silent. Don't keep silent, And don't be still, God.
2જુઓ, તમારા શત્રુઓ હુલ્લડ મચાવે છે. અને જેઓ તમને ધિક્કાર છે તેમણે તમારી સામે માથું ઊંચું કર્યું છે.
2For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.
3તેઓ તમારા લોકો વિરુદ્ધ કપટભરી યોજનાઓ કરે છે, અને તમારા લોક જેઓ તમને મૂલ્યવાન છે, તેઓની વિરુદ્ધ પ્રપંચ રચે છે.
3They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
4તેઓ કહે છે, “ચાલો, પ્રજા તરીકેના તેમના અસ્તિત્વનો આપણે સંપૂર્ણ નાશ કરીએ; જેથી ઇસ્રાએલના નામનું સ્મરણ કદી ન રહે.”
4"Come," they say, "and let's destroy them as a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more."
5તેઓ નિર્ણય સર્વાનુમતે કરે છે, અને યોજનાઓ કરે છે; તેઓ તમારી વિરુદ્ધ કરાર કરે છે.
5For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.
6તંબુમાં રહેનાર અદોમીઓ, ઇશ્માએલીઓ, મોઆબીઓ તથા હાગ્રીઓ,
6The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
7ગબાલ, તથા આમ્મોન ને અમાલેક; અને તૂર દેશના લોકો પલિસ્તીઓ કરાર કરે છે.
7Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8તેઓની સાથે આશ્શૂર પણ સામેલ થાય છે; અને લોતના વંશજોને સહાય કરી છે.
8Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
9તમે જે મિદ્યાન સાથે વ્યવહાર કર્યો હતો, કીશોન નદી પર સીસરા તથા યાબીન સાથે; તેવોજ વ્યવહાર તમે તેઓની સાથે કરો.
9Do to them as you did to Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;
10એન-દોરમાં તેઓ નાશ પામ્યા, અને ભૂમિ મૃતદેહોના કહોવાણથી ફળદ્રુપ થઇ.
10Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.
11જેમ ઓરેબ તથા ઝએબ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા, તેમ તેઓના સર્વ શૂરવીરો મૃત્યુ પામો; સર્વ અધિકારીઓના હાલ ઝેબાહ તથા સાલ્મુન્ના જેવા થાઓ.
11Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;
12તેઓએ કહ્યું, ચાલો આપણે પોતાને માટે દેવના નિવાસસ્થાનને કબજે કરીએ.
12Who said, "Let us take possession Of God's pasturelands."
13હે મારા દેવ, તેઓને વંટોળિયાની ધૂળ જેવા; અને પવનથી ઊડતાં ફોતરાં જેવા કરો.
13My God, make them like tumbleweed; Like chaff before the wind.
14જેમ અગ્નિ જંગલોને ભસ્મ કરે છે, અને આગ પર્વતોને સળગાવે તેમ વિનાશ કરો.
14As the fire that burns the forest, As the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
15તમારા વંટોળિયાઓ અને તોફાનોથી તેમનો પીછો કરો અને તેમને ડરાવો.
15So pursue them with your tempest, And terrify them with your storm.
16તેઓ લજ્જિત થઇ પોતાનાં મુખ સંતાડે તેમ કરો. હે યહોવા, તેઓ તમારું નામ શોધે.
16Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek your name, Yahweh.
17તેઓ હંમેશા લજ્જિત થાઓ, અને ગૂંચવાઇ જાઓ; તેઓ અપમાનિત થાઓ અને નાશ પામો.
17Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
18જેથી તેઓ જાણે કે તમારું નામ છે, ‘યહોવા’ છે અને તમે એકલાં જ સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી પર પરાત્પર દેવ છો.
18That they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, Are the Most High over all the earth.
