1યહૂદિયામાં દેવ પ્રગટ થયેલો છે, ઇસ્રાએલમાં તેમના નામનો ઊંચો આદર છે.
1For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm by Asaph. A song. In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.
2તેમનો મંડપ યરૂશાલેમમાં છે, અને તેમનું નિવાસસ્થાન સિયોનમાં છે.
2His tent is also in Salem; His dwelling place in Zion.
3ત્યાં તેણે ચળકતાં બાણોને ભાંગી નાખ્યાં, ઢાલ-તરવારને શસ્ર ભાંગી નાઁખ્યાં.
3There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, The shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.
4દેવ, તમે તમારા શત્રુઓને જ્યાં હરાવ્યાં તે ટેકરીઓ પાછળથી તમે આવો છો ત્યારે તમે મહિમાવંત લાગો છો.
4Glorious are you, and excellent, More than mountains of game.
5જેઓ શૂરવીર છે, તેઓ લૂંટાયા છે, ને ચિર નિંદ્રાવશ થયા છે; અને કોઇ પરાક્રમીઓના હાથથી કઁઇ પણ થઇ શક્યું નથી.
5Valiant men lie plundered, They have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.
6હે યાકૂબના દેવ, તમારી ધમકીથી રથ અને ઘોડા બંને ચિરનિદ્રામાં પડ્યાં છે.
6At your rebuke, God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.
7દેવ તમે ભયાવહ છો, તમે કોપાયમાન હો ત્યારે તમારી સામે કોણ ઊભું રહી શકે?
7You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
8તમે આકાશમાંથી ન્યાય ચુકાદો ફરમાવ્યો, અને ધરતી ભયભીત બની શાંત થઇ ગઇ.
8You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,
9હે દેવ, તમે ન્યાય કરવા માટે તથા દેશના નમ્ર લોકોને બચાવવા માટે ઊભા થયા છો.
9When God arose to judgment, To save all the afflicted ones of the earth. Selah.
10તમારા માણસો વિરુદ્ધ કોપ તમારી ખચીત પ્રશંસા કરાવશે; અને તમારો જે કોપ બાકી રહ્યો તે તમે તમારી કમરે બાંધશો.
10Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.
11જે પ્રતિજ્ઞાઓ તમે યહોવા તમારા દેવની સમક્ષ લીધેલી છે તે તમે પૂર્ણ કરો. ભયાવહ દેવ સમક્ષ તમે સૌ, તમારા દાન લાવો.
11Make vows to Yahweh your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
12પૃથ્વીના રાજાઓ તેમનો ભય રાખે છે, કારણ સરદારોનો ગર્વ તે તોડી નાખે છે.
12He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
