1હે દેવ, સિયોનમાં અમે તમારી સ્તુતિ કરતાં શાંતપણે વાટ જોઇએ છીએ; અને અમે અમારી પ્રતિજ્ઞાઓ પૂર્ણ કરીએ છીએ.
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song. Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.
2તમે હંમેશા લોકોની પ્રાર્થનાઓ સાંભળો છો, અને તેથી બધાં તમારી પાસે પ્રાર્થના સાથે આવશે.
2You who hear prayer, To you all men will come.
3અમારા પાપો અમારા માટે ખૂબ ભારે બન્યાં છે, પણ તમે સર્વ પાપોને ભૂંસી નાંખો છો.
3Sins overwhelmed me, But you atoned for our transgressions.
4તેઓ કે જેઓને તમારા પવિત્ર મંડપનાં આંગણાઓમાં તમારી નજીક પહોંચવા તમે પસંદ કર્યા છે, તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે. તમારા ઘરની, એટલે તમારા પવિત્ર મંદિરની સારી વસ્તુઓથી અમે તૃપ્ત થયા છીએ.
4Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, That he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, Your holy temple.
5હે અમારા તારણનાં દેવ, ન્યાયીકરણથી તમે અદ્ભૂત કૃત્યો વડે અમને ઉત્તર દેશો; તમે પૃથ્વીની સર્વ સીમાઓના તથા દૂરનાં સમુદ્રો સુધી, તમે સર્વ માનવ જાતનાં એકમાત્ર આશ્રય છો.
5By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, Of those who are far away on the sea;
6દેવે તેમની અદભૂત શકિતથી પર્વતો રચ્યાં. તેઓ સાર્મથ્યથી સુસજજીત હતા.
6Who by his power forms the mountains, Having armed yourself with strength;
7તોફાની “સમુદ્રોને” અને મોજાઓની ગર્જનાને, તથા લોકોનાં હુલ્લડને તમે શાંત કરો છો.
7Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.
8આખી પૃથ્વી પરના લોકો દેવનાં મહિમાવંત કાર્યો નિહાળશે, અને આશ્ચર્ય પામશે. સૂર્યનાં ઉદય અને અસ્તનાં સ્થળોએ તમે આનંદનાં ગીતો ગવડાવશો.
8They also who dwell in far-away places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning's dawn and the evening with songs of joy.
9તમે એ છો જે પૃથ્વીની સંભાળ લે છે અને ભૂમિને પાણી આપે છે. દેવની નદી પાણીથી ભરેલી છે જેથી તેના લોકોને સારી ફસલ મળે.
9You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.
10તમે ખેતરનાં ચાસોને વરસાદનું પાણી આપો છો, વરસાદનાં ઝાપટાંથી તમે ભૂમિને નરમ કરો છો, અને તેમાં થતી ફસલને આશીર્વાદ આપો છો.
10You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.
11તમે વર્ષને પુષ્કળ ફસલથી આશીર્વાદિત કરો છો. તમે ઋતુઓના ચક્રને ખૂબ વિપુલતાથી પૂર્ણ કરો છો.
11You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.
12વેરાન ખેતરો ઘાસથી ભરાઇ ગયા છે અને ઘાસથી ભરેલી ટેકરીઓ આનંદથી ભરાઇ ગઇ છે.
12The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.
13વળી ઘાસનાં બીડો ઘેટાઓના ટોળાથી ઢંકાઇ જાય છે, અને ખીણો ભરપૂર અનાજના પાકથી ઢંકાયેલી છે; આખી પૃથ્વી હર્ષનાદનાં પોકાર કરે છે. અને હા, તેઓ ગીતો ગાય છે.
13The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.
