1હે મારા દેવ, મારા શત્રુઓથી મારી રક્ષા કરો; અને મારી વિરુદ્ધ જેઓ ઊઠે છે, તેઓથી તમે મને ઉગારો.
1For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Do Not Destroy." A poem by David, when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
2દુષ્ટતા કરનારાઓથી તમે મને બચાવો; અને ખૂની માણસોથી તમે મને બચાવો.
2Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.
3ઘાતકી માણસો છુપાઇ રહીને મારો જીવ લેવા કેવા રાહ જોઇ રહ્યાં છે! હે યહોવા, મેં કોઇ પાપ કર્યુ છે કે કોઇ અપરાધ કર્યો છે, કે જેથી વિપત્તિ મારા ઉપર આવી છે, એવું નથી.
3For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, Not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, Yahweh.
4જો કે મારો દોષ ન હોવા છતાં તેઓ અહીં ધસી આવ્યા છે અને મારા ઉપર હુમલો કરવાની તૈયારી કરે છે. હે યહોવા, જાગૃત થાઓ, આ બધું જુઓ, અને મને સહાય કરો.
4I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!
5હે યહોવા, સૈન્યોના દેવ; ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ, જાગૃત થાઓ; આ વિદેશી પ્રજાઓને શિક્ષા કરો; તમે કપટ કરનાર દુષ્ટ અપરાધીઓ પર જરાય દયા રાખશો નહિ.
5You, Yahweh God of hosts, the God of Israel, Rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah.
6તેઓ સંધ્યાકાળે પાછા આવે છે, અને તેઓ કૂતરાની જેમ ઘૂરકે છે; નગરની આસપાસ ફેરા ખાય છે.
6They return at evening, howling like dogs, And prowl around the city.
7તેઓ અપમાનો અને ધમકીઓ ઉચ્ચારે છે. તેઓના હોઠોમાંથી તરવારની જેમ શબ્દો નીકળે છે. તેઓને કોણ સાંભળે છે તેની ચિંતા નથી.
7Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, "For," they say, "who hears us?"
8હે યહોવા, તમે તેઓને હસી કાઢો; અને વિદેશી પ્રજાની હાંસી ઉડાવો.
8But you, Yahweh, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
9હે દેવ, મારા સાર્મથ્ય! હું તમારી વાટ જોઇશ; તમે મારી સુરક્ષાનો ઊંચો મજબૂત ગઢ છો.
9Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, For God is my high tower.
10યહોવા મારો કૃપાળુ દેવ મને મદદ કરવા આગળ આવશે. તે મને શત્રુઓનો પરાજય જોવા દેશે.
10My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
11દેવ, હમણાં તેઓનો સંહાર ન કરશો, કે મારા માણસો ભૂલી જાય. હે યહોવા, અમારી ઢાલ, વિખેરી નાખો અને તેમને તમારા સાર્મથ્યથી હરાવો.
11Don't kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.
12તેઓ બધા પોતાના મુખનાં શબ્દોથી શાપ આપી પાપ કરે છે, તેઓના જ હોઠે અસત્ય બોલે છે, પોતાના જ અભિમાનમાં તેઓને ફસાઇ જવા દો.
12For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, Let them be caught in their pride, For the curses and lies which they utter.
13તમે તમારા ક્રોધમાંજ તેઓનો સંહાર કરો; જેથી સંપૂર્ણ વિનાશ થાય; પછી સર્વ લોકો જાણશે કે ઇસ્રાએલમાં દેવ રાજ કરે છે, અને તેમનો જ અધિકાર સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી પર છે.
13Consume them in wrath. Consume them, and they will be no more. Let them know that God rules in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah.
14સંધ્યાકાળે દુષ્ટો પાછા આવી કૂતરાની જેમ ધૂરકે છે, અને તેઓ ચોરી છૂપીથી નગરમાં ફરે છે.
14At evening let them return. Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city.
15તેઓ ખાવા સારું ખોરાક માટે રખડે છે, તેઓને સંતોષ ન થાય ત્યારે ઘૂરકે છે.
15They shall wander up and down for food, And wait all night if they aren't satisfied.
16પણ હું તો તમારા સાર્મથ્યનું ગીત ગાઇશ, સવારમાં હું તમારી કૃપા વિષે ગાઇશ, કારણ તમે મારા મજબૂત ગઢ છો; અને સંકટના સમયે સુરક્ષિત સ્થળ છો.
16But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, A refuge in the day of my distress.
17હે મારા સાર્મથ્ય, હું તમારા સ્તોત્રો ગાઉં છું; કારણ તમે મારા મજબૂત ગઢ છો, દેવ, તમે મને પ્રેમ કરનારા છો.
17To you, my strength, I will sing praises. For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.
