1મારૂં હૃદય સુંદર શબ્દોથી ભરાઇ ગયું છે. મેં રાજા માટે કવિતા રચી છે તે. હું બોલ છું. મારી જીભ શ્રેષ્ઠ લેખકની જેમ ઘણા શબ્દોથી ભરાઇ ગઇ છે.
1For the Chief Musician. Set to "The Lilies." A contemplation by the sons of Korah. A wedding song. My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.
2તમે કોઇ પણ માણસ કરતાં વધારે સુંધર છો. તમારાં શબ્દો કૃપાથી ભરેલાં છે. તમો દેવ દ્વારા સદાને માટે આશીર્વાદ પામેલા છો.
2You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, Therefore God has blessed you forever.
3હે પરાક્રમી, તમે તમારી તરવાર કમરે બાંધો; અને ગૌરવથી પ્રતાપ પરિધાન કરો.
3Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one: Your splendor and your majesty.
4તમે ભવ્ય દેખાઓ છો, જાઓ, સત્ય અને ભલાઇ અને ન્યાયની લડતમાં વિજયી થાઓ. પ્રભાવશાળી કાર્યો કરવા માટે તમારી શકિતશાળી જમણી બાહુ કેળવાયલી છે.
4In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.
5તમારા તીક્ષ્ણ બાણો મારા શત્રુઓના હૃદયો વીંધે છે, તેઓ તમારા ચરણોમાં ઢળી પડે છે અને લોકો તમારા શરણે આવે છે.
5Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king's enemies.
6હે દેવ, તમારૂં રાજ્યાસન સનાતન છે; અને તમારો રાજદંડ એ તમારૂં ન્યાયી શાસન છે.
6Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom.
7તમને ન્યાયીપણા પર પ્રીતિ છે, અને દુષ્ટતા પ્રતિ તિરસ્કાર છે; માટે સર્વસમર્થ દેવ, હા, તારા દેવે; તમને સર્વ કરતાં શ્રેષ્ઠ ગણીને આનંદના તેલથી અભિષિકત કર્યા છે.
7You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
8હાથીદાંતના મહેલોમાં મારાં વસ્રો બોળ, અગરને તજની સુગંધથી કેવા મહેકે છે, ને તારનાં વાદ્યો તને આનંદ આપે છે.
8All your garments smell like myrrh, aloes, and cassia. Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.
9તમારી માનીતી સ્રીઓમાં ઘણી રાજકુમારીકાઓ છે. શુદ્ધ સોનામાંથી બનાવેલો મુગટ પહેરેલી રાણી તમારી જમણે ઊભી છે.
9Kings' daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir.
10હે રાજકન્યા, હું કહું તે તું કાને ધર; ને પછી વિચાર કર; તારા લોકોને ભૂલી જા અને તારા બાપનું ઘર ભૂલી જા.
10Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear. Forget your own people, and also your father's house.
11તારા સૌંદર્યમાં મોહિત થઇને રાજા અતિ આનંદ પામે છે, તે તારા સ્વામી છે, માટે તેની સેવાભકિત કર.
11So the king will desire your beauty, Honor him, for he is your lord.
12તૂરના ધનવાન લોકો તમારા માટે ભેટ સોગાદો લઇને તમને મળવા આવશે.
12The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift. The rich among the people entreat your favor.
13અતિ સુંદર રાજકન્યા, જનાનખાનામાં રાહ જુએ છે; તેનાં સુંદર જરીનાં વસ્રોમાં, સોનાના તાર વણેલા છે.
13The princess inside is all glorious. Her clothing is interwoven with gold.
14તેણીએ સુંદર, શણગારેલા વસ્ત્રો પરિધાન કર્યા છે. તેણીને રાજા પાસે લઇ જવામાં આવે છે. તમારા માટે લાવવામાં આવેલી કુમારિકાઓ તેને અનુસરે છે.
14She shall be led to the king in embroidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you.
15જ્યારે રાજમહેલમાં તેઓ પ્રવેશ કરશે ત્યારે તેઓ આનંદ તથા ઉત્સાહથી ભરેલાં હશે.
15With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led. They shall enter into the king's palace.
16તારા વંશજો તારા પછી શાસન કરશે. તું તેમને સમગ્ર પ્રદેશના હાકેમ બનાવીશ.
16Your sons will take the place of your fathers. You shall make them princes in all the earth.
17હું તારંુ નામ સદા સર્વ પેઢીઓમાં અત્યંત પ્રિય કરીશ; પૃથ્વી પરનાં સર્વ લોક સદા તારી આભારસ્તુતિ કરશે.
17I will make your name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.
