હે મારા આત્મા, શા માટે તું આટલો દુ:ખી છે? તું શા માટે આટલો અસ્વસ્થ અને વ્યાકુળ બની ગયો છે? દેવની મદદ માટે રાહ જો! જે મારા મુખનું તારણ તથા મારો દેવ છે, તેનું હું હજી સ્તવન કરીશ.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, The saving help of my countenance, and my God.
