હું જુવાન હતો અને હવે વૃદ્ધ થયો છું. છતાં ન્યાયીને તરછોડ્યા હોય કે તેનાં સંતાન ભીખ માંગતા હોય એવું કદાપિ મેં જોયું નથી.

I have been young, and now am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his children begging for bread.
