1હે ન્યાયી લોકો, યહોવામાં હરખાઓ; શુદ્ધ હૃદયવાળા લોકો યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરે તે સારું છે.
1Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
2વીણા વગાડી યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરો, દશ તારનું વાજીંત્ર વગાડી ગાઓ; સ્તુતિના મધુર ગીતો આનંદથી ગાઓ.
2Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
3યહોવાના નૂતન ગીતો ગાઓ; વાજીંત્રોને કુશળતાથી અને મોટેથી વગાડો.
3Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
4યહોવાનો પ્રત્યેક શબ્દ ન્યાયી છે, તેનાં સર્વ કાર્ય ભરોસાપાત્ર છે.
4For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
5તે ન્યાય અને નિષ્પક્ષતાને ચાહે છે. પૃથ્વી યહોવાની કૃપાથી ભરાઇ ગઇ છે.
5He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.
6એમણે શબ્દોચ્ચાર કર્યો અને અકાશનું નિર્માણ થયું, અને તેમના મુખમાંના શ્વાસે આકાશના સમગ્ર તારાઓની રચના કરી.
6By Yahweh's word the heavens were made; All their host by the breath of his mouth.
7તેમણે સમુદ્રો બનાવ્યાં અને મશકની માફક પાણી ભેગા કર્યાર્ અને તેના અતિશય ઊઁડાણોને વખારોમાં ભરી રાખે છે.
7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
8સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી યહોવાથી બીઓ, અને પૃથ્વીવાસી તેનું ભય રાખો અને આદર કરો.
8Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9કારણ, તેઓ બોલ્યા અને સૃષ્ટિ ઉત્પન્ન થઇ; અને તેમણે આજ્ઞા કરી અને તે સ્થિર થઇ.
9For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.
10યહોવા તેમનો વિરોધ કરતી પ્રજાઓની યોજનાઓને નિષ્ફળ બનાવે છે. જુઓ, યહોવા બધા લોકોની યોજનાઓને નિરર્થક બનાવે છે.
10Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11યહોવાની યોજનાઓ સદાકાળ ટકે છે. તેમણે કરેલી ઘારણા પેઢી દર પેઢી રહે છે.
11The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12જે પ્રજાના દેવ યહોવા છે, અને જેઓને તેમણે પોતાના લોકો તરીકે પસંદ કર્યા છે. તેઓને ધન્ય છે.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, The people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
13યહોવાનું નિવાસસ્થાન આકાશમાં છે, ત્યાંથી તે સર્વ માનવજાત પર નજર રાખે છે.
13Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
14હા, તે આકાશમાંથી સૃષ્ટિમાં વસતા સર્વ જીવોને ધ્યાનથી જુએ છે.
14From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15યહોવા સર્વના હૃદયના સરજનહાર છે, અને તેઓ જે કાંઇ કરે છે તે એ સમજે છે.
15He who fashions all of their hearts; And he considers all of their works.
16રાજા ફકત તેના સુસજ્જ સૈન્યના બળથી જીતી ન શકે. બળવાન યોદ્ધો ફકત પોતાની બહાદુરીથી બચી જતો નથી.
16There is no king saved by the multitude of a host. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17યુદ્ધમાં વિજય માટે ધોડાઓ પર આધાર રાખવો વ્યર્થ છે, તેઓ પોતાના બાહુબળથી કોઇને ઉગારી શકતા નથી.
17A horse is a vain thing for safety, Neither does he deliver any by his great power.
18યહોવા તેઓની નજર અને સંભાળ રાખે છે જેઓ તેનો ભય રાખે છે; અને તેમનો આદર કરે છે જેઓ તેમની કૃપાની રાહ જુએ છે.
18Behold, Yahweh's eye is on those who fear him, On those who hope in his loving kindness;
19તે તેઓના જીવને મૃત્યુથી બચાવે છે, અને દુકાળ સમયે તેઓને જીવતાઁ રાખે છે.
19To deliver their soul from death, To keep them alive in famine.
20અમે પૂર્ણ શ્રદ્ધાથી અમારી રક્ષા માટે યહોવાની પ્રતિક્ષા કરીએ છીએ, તે અમારા સાચા સહાયક છે, અને તે અમારી ઢાલ છે.
20Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield.
21અમે યહોવામાં આનંદિત છીએ. અમે તેમનામાં ભરોસો રાખીએ છીએ. અમને તેમનાં પવિત્ર નામમાં વિશ્વાસ છે.
21For our heart rejoices in him, Because we have trusted in his holy name.
22હે યહોવા, અમે રાહ જોઇ અને તમારી આશા રાખી છે કે તમારી કૃપા અમારા પર થાય.
22Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, Since we have hoped in you.
