1સંકટનાં દિવસોમાં યહોવા તારી પ્રાર્થના સાંભળી તને ઉત્તર આપો; યાકૂબનાં દેવ, સર્વ પ્રકારની વિપત્તિમાં તારી રક્ષા કરો.
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high,
2ભલે તેઓ પોતાના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાંથી તેમની મદદ મોકલે અને તમને સિયોનમાંથી શકિત આપે.
2Send you help from the sanctuary, Grant you support from Zion,
3તારા કરેલા સર્વ અર્પણોને યાદ રાખી, અને તારું દહનાર્પણ સ્વીકારે.
3Remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah.
4તને તારી ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે આપે અને તારી સર્વ યોજનાઓને પાર પાડે.
4May He grant you your heart's desire, And fulfill all your counsel.
5તમારી મુકિત અમને સુખી બનાવશે, આપણા દેવને નામે આપણી ધ્વજાઓ ચઢાવીશું; યહોવા તમારી બધી વિનંતિઓનો સ્વીકાર કરે.
5We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God we will set up our banners: May Yahweh grant all your requests.
6યહોવાએ પોતે જેને અભિષિકત કર્યા છે, તેને વિજય અપાવે છે, તે પવિત્ર આકાશમાંથી પોતાના જમણા હાથની તારક શકિતથી તેને જવાબ આપશે.
6Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, With the saving strength of his right hand.
7કોઇ રાષ્ટો પોતાના સૈન્યો અને શસ્રો વિષે અભિમાન કરે છે, બીજા કોઇ તેમના રથો અને ઘોડાઓ પર અભિમાન કરે છે. પણ અમે અમારા દેવમાં વિશ્વાસ રાખીએ છીએ. અમે અમારા યહોવાના નામના પોકાર કરીશું.
7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we trust the name of Yahweh our God.
8તેઓ નમીને પડી ગયા છે; પણ આપણે અડગ ઊભા રહીશુ.
8They are bowed down and fallen, But we rise up, and stand upright.
9હે યહોવા, અમારા રાજાને વિજય આપો. અમે ભાર પૂર્વક વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે તમે જવાબ આપો.
9Save, Yahweh; Let the King answer us when we call!
