એવામાં જ્યારે સાંજ પડી, એક વૃદ્ધ માંણસ તે માંર્ગે પસાર થયો, તે તેના ખેતરથી કામ કરીને ઘેર પાછો ફરતો હતો. તે એફ્રાઈમના પહાડી પ્રદેશનો વતની હતો. અને ગિબયાહ આવ્યો હતો અને ત્યાં રહેતો હતો. તે નગરના લોકો બિન્યામીનકુળસમૂહના હતાં.

Behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even: now the man was of the hill-country of Ephraim, and he sojourned in Gibeah; but the men of the place were Benjamites.
