પછી યહોશુઆએ બધાં લોકોને કહ્યું, “ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવાએ આમ કહ્યું છે:‘પ્રાચીનયુગમાં તમાંરા પૂર્વજો તેરાહ અને તેના પુત્રો સહિત ઈબ્રાહિમ અને નાહોર ફ્રાત નદીને કાંઠે રહતા હતા અને તેઓ બીજા દવીની પૂજા કરતા હતા.

Joshua said to all the people, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, Your fathers lived of old time beyond the River, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nahor: and they served other gods.
