જેમ યહોવાએ તેના સેવક મૂસાને આજ્ઞાંકિત કર્યો, ફક્ત તેમજ મૂસાએ યહોશુઆને આજ્ઞાંકિત કર્યો અને યહોશુઆએ તે પાળ્યું. તેણે તે બધું કર્યું જેના માંટે યહોવાએ મૂસાને આજ્ઞાંકિત કર્યો હતો:

As Yahweh commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua: and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that Yahweh commanded Moses.
