ઉત્તર દિશાની સરહદ ઉપરથી યુદ્ધના ભણકારા સંભળાઇ રહ્યા છે. દુશ્મનો દાનના કુળસમૂહોના શહેર સુધી આવી પહોંચ્યા છે; ત્યાંથી તેમના ઘોડાઓના હણહણાટ સંભળાય છે, તેમના હણહણાટથી આખો દેશ ધ્રુજી ઊઠે છે, એ લોકો આખો પ્રદેશ અને એમનું સર્વસ્વ, શહેરો અને તેના વતનીઓને ભરખી જવા આવે છે.”

The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan: at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones the whole land trembles; for they are come, and have devoured the land and all that is in it; the city and those who dwell therein.
